11years ago I had a stroke that should have killed me. According to the Neuro doctor my wife should be making funeral arrangements because I had the stroke in the brain stem . Just try and imagine the pain of our Lord, not necessarily the physical pain of the crucifixion and abuse, but He knew that it was a narrow road that leads to Heaven, He died for every single soul who was ever conceived, and He knew that the majority would reject Him, so the emotional suffering must have been immense even before the physical abuse had started! Remember His sweat was like drops of blood when he was with His disciple friends before His arrest! It is through Mary and by Mary that Jesus was born, yet so many people ignore her, and so many call Mary just an ordinary woman. Jesus being the Son of God and the second person in the Holy Trinity wouldn't choose an ordinary woman to be His mother. God choose Mary to be His mother long before time began on this earth. In the Holy Bible, in the Magnificat, in the book of Luke Mary says to John the Baptist mother Elizabeth that all generations shall call her (Mary) blessed.
