Also the Feast of Our Lady of Loreto is within the Octave of the Immaculate Conception. It is on December 10, although it was not liturgically observed this year as it concurred with the Second Sunday in Advent. Unfortunately there is no Marian Feast on the Octave day, unlike the Assumption [the Octave of the Assumption is the Queenship of Mary Aug 22]. Strictly speaking neither the Assumption nor the Immaculate Conception have liturgical Octaves.
