This video changed my life! Since i was a little girl this has always been my favorite record by MARY . When i saw this video i mafe my mom take me to to the beauty supply store so I could replicate Mary's hairstyle and I later ended up becoming a celebrity hairstylist and recording artist. MJB is the epitome of a Capricorn. She is hands down a " G.O.A.T." for real. Itry my best to see her in concert everytime she tours. She doesn't even realize we cry with her and pray for her and love her as if we've known her personally. Hands down The Most High blessed this anointed woman who has an angelic covering. I will forever have MARY J. BLIGE as one of my favorites of all time. Be Happy is my favorite song by her ever in life! SHE IS EVERYTHING TO ME! Giving you your flowers. We love you MARY J. BLIGE! #mjb #maryjblige #thegoat #flawedperfection #therealest #capricorn #cappiton #cappigoat #humanangel #sheiseverything #behappy #jennicesomega #genesisomega

You can tell when an artist really feels the lyrics that they sing or if its just someone trying to sell a song. You can hear the pain in her voice but you can also hear the power and conviction. You're all wrong...haha...The song heavily samples Curtis Mayfield's "You're So Good To Me". That is basically where the beat comes from. Puffy used a lot of samples on this album and then went and added little things here and there. So to answer your question, Puffy and Trackmasters produced this song and Puffy basically produced the whole album but used lots of samples. Regardless of that, *My Life* is the best album she's ever done.

If we don't hurry up and bring back the sounds from the 90's, R&B will slowly but surely disappear as we know it!

Tbf it already has.. You have new genres such as alternative r&b, soultronic, afro basement.. So well and truly R&B has cleverly been split into fresh genres we can embark on for the future but I do cherish my 90s r&b, new jack swing and neo soul because the sound gave authenticity and purity to this earth and music culture. Something to reminisce over. ♥️

This song 🎶 🎧 speaks directly to my soul & it’s powerful. It’s like God was definitely giving Mary these dope lyrics to write ✍🏾 a complete powerhouse . I cry 😭 just listening to some of these songs . I was literally contemplating Suicide a couple nights ago an I just happened to hear this song & it saved me. I battle with Clinical Depression/Anxiety & I’m a Sexual abuse/physical abuse survivor. Thank God I made it thru but sometimes I really do question God like why am I here??
