You can be proud of black people even if you aren't black. We are a pretty incredible group of people. I'm proud of the Irish when I learned what they went through, and the Jews when I saw what they went through. Nothing wrong with asserting your cultural pride and admiring it in others.

So well and truly R&B has cleverly been split into fresh genres we can embark on for the future but I do cherish my 90s r&b, new jack swing and neo soul because the sound gave authenticity and purity to this earth and music culture. You can tell when an artist really feels the lyrics that they sing or if its just someone trying to sell a song. You can hear the pain in her voice but you can also hear the power and conviction. Beyonce can sing all day long but she will never have this kind of power in her voice. The My Life album is one of the best hiphop albums EVER RELEASED.

You're all wrong...haha...The song heavily samples Curtis Mayfield's "You're So Good To Me". That is basically where the beat comes from. Puffy used a lot of samples on this album and then went and added little things here and there. So to answer your question, Puffy and Trackmasters produced this song and Puffy basically produced the whole album but used lots of samples. Regardless of that, *My Life* is the best album she's ever done.

She was/is so fly. I was just a kid when _My Life_ came out. Hadn't experienced anything, but I was able to feel and connect with her. That's her gift. Feeling and connection. It's greater than her voice. This is always gon be my jam. Shoot, anything from this album is good.
