I always loved the simplicity of the video, just Mary singing in a beautiful exotic island area...nobody twerking, she aint dressed half naked, back when the Females in the Hip Hop and R&B industry had respect for themselves, and the songs had such soulful heart felt meaning. I don't think people understand how HUGE 'Share My World' was as a album. that's why its so hilarious when people say 'My Life' is her best. NO. ITS NOT. It didnt even have the first week sales to back it. 'Share My World' knocked Biggie's Life After Death album outta the top spot. Do you know how MAJOR you had to be, to do that, and how HUGE that was in 1997? 'Share' has more classic hits that all were on the radio, 'Everything' really brought the album to the forefront because it was repeatedly played on commercial radio when it was very hard for Black artists to have their songs played on it. "Everything' was her first song since 'Real Love' to get those kinda spins, until 'Family Affair' in 2001. Family Affair is another bonafide hit. COLOSSAL hit for Mary.
