I think this is THE best live cover I have ever heard. This song was so fitting in the reputation era. She really lost a bunch of fake friends. People doubted her more than ever, she was even name-called. There were articles saying how her “reputation tour is shaping up to be a disaster” but she came through with it being the highest grossing North American tour in history. This is the 1st song that I heard from Mary J. Blige (don't blame me cause I seldom listen to these kind, but I definitely know her, just do not have much interest in the past), and it is beautiful and touching. Yes, Taylor! So tired of people saying she can’t sing. She was a baby when she started in the industry and she was thrown into the fire too early before her voice had matured because she wrote amazing lyrics and is stunningly beautiful, but she always had the tools. Her voice just took a couple of years to mature. She honed her craft. Saw her last month in Vancouver at the last weekend of Eras and she was amazing! I don’t know how she did so many shows and kept up that pace for almost 2 years. She is the hardest working woman in show business! And Mary? Well, she’s a Queen and deserves all the praise 🫶!
