There are times when I keep going back and forth between Felicia and MJ. On one hand, Felicia is kind of this injection of excitement and never truly needing to be saved, nor demanding to be treated like an equal to Spider-Man because she just is those things. But then there’s MJ, who is pretty much the grounded person who Peter needs so that he doesn’t lose his way. She is his light in the darkness, the motivation to keep going. She is the equal to Peter Parker, not Spider-Man. Like I said, I go back and forth.
