She’s a lovely person. What she’s saying about “do I know you?” - well it happened to me… I randomly met her at an evening art class in London years ago. I was absolutely convinced I knew her. She didn’t seem to think so, and I’m not a creep so I let it go, but throughout the evening it was bugging me. So as we were wrapping up, I said “look, I don’t want to bug you but I really think I know you from somewhere.” So she looked around to see that no one is listening, and quietly said: “OK… do you watch a TV show called 24?” 🫣

Just saw her on Tamron Hall saying she went on some dating site and was talking to a potential date. She told him she was an actor and his response was, “where do you wait tables”. She was insulted that he thought she was a struggling actor, wow! As if it were beneath her to be a food server. I happen to be one and it’s not easy to be a food server. Her reaction to his comment is insulting to food servers. What makes her feel she is any better than anyone else in this world because she’s an actor? I’m sure she is high maintenance in a restaurant. I’ve worked in Carmel, CA at a well known restaurant, where actors and well known people would frequent the restaurant. A few that came in nobody wanted to wait on because they treated the servers like crap. Shame on her and these other actors that look down on people who are in the food and beverage industry. I bet they wouldn’t last a day serving food. I’ll make sure I don’t watch any of the movies she is in. As a matter of fact, I’ve never heard of her before watching Tamron Hall this morning.

You missed the point entirely. This potential date was assuming she wasn't successful at all and that all actresses wait tables. It's not beneath her. She worked at friggin Denny's. Read the book and don't look to take every damn thing internally and personalize it.

Well if it makes you feel any better she's barely had a career as an actor. Like two notable roles and a bunch of bit parts. The reason she got upset is probably because his assumption was a little too close to home. She's definitely not rich.
