This is lovely yarn. I've heard of Noro, Bag O Day gets it occasionally. It is expensive yarn. I look forward to seeing your poncho pattern. Living in Florida I doubt I'd ever make it for myself, but I have family and friends in Washington state who would enjoy a cute poncho. Thanks again Sheila! 😻💗😊

Wow, those colors go beautifully with your hair color! I can’t wait to see the finished product on you next month. Your throw and shawl are gorgeous! I am just starting my very first corner to corner. I might have to watch several different tutorials to get it right. Take care and stay safe 👁❤️🧶

Yay!! I got my Mary Maxim crochet kit also, I got the blue yarn, can’t wait to work it up in the pattern, 😁 I know this my be a little late, but I’ve been stuck on the Bella Wrap for awhile now, if you could explain better row 15 for me or do a quick tutorial on it I would really appreciate it, I’m still learning how to read patterns, thanks in advance 😊

Hi Sheila! I love that afghan you made, so pretty. The poncho is equally as pretty. All the colors are just beautiful. I love that Noro Yarn, I always see Crystal BOD, review this and one day I will purchase some. Not sure if you've seen her video where she discusses a yarn company in Washington State (Little Knits or something like that) and the prices are crazy good for many many of those expensive yarns which really makes them affordable. Anyhoo, I am looking forward to seeing that wrap, the colors are so pretty. Thank you so much.

I will have to try to find that place. Little Knits. Crystal is always on the hunt for yarn. She is a power crocheter.

I think many people stopped after the Nov Dec kits. I almost stopped as well. But in my mind I committed for 1 year, so I am sticking to it.

Noro is top of the line yarn, and quite expensive. Tfs this month's kit. If you are looking for very soft Mary M axim yarn try the Mellowspun yarn.

I love the Noro yarn,I bought two more skeins from Webs for 9.99 each. There is no way I'm putting that Noro with an acrylic yarn-lol So I'm just going to make something with the Noro. I'm not keen on acrylics too much. Love,Love, love your poncho and the blanket is lovely. Thanks for the review.

So far leaning toward not using the acrylic with the Noro.

Hey girl, good to see you. It is a huge amount of double crochet. I found because I made my own size I had to pay attention to the size as you wanted to strike a balance of using almost all of my yarn that I planned for it but did not want to run out with part of a corner missing.

I’m reading all these comments about how great Noro yarn is. Meanwhile I’ve been thinking it’s the worst yarn I’ve ever worked with 😂. I like the color I got which was super colorful, but it’s been terrible to work with. It’s fine once I get it into the pattern, but getting it there is a problem. Guess I don’t know what I’m talking about with though lol. Edited to add: I’ve never used it before. It’s possible I just got a weird under quality skein. Mine wasn’t as “fluffy” as that looks, so I’m guessing yours was spun better which most of my issues I think come from how it was spun. So willing to admit maybe I just got a sub par skein that doesn’t represent the norm. It happens.
