I can't say it for Mary where she got her always flawless way to speak but I bet it's pretty current coming from the actors who have made a big part of their carreer in plays, in Broadway or elsewhere... They have a lot of diction lessons to learn speak clearly and be understandable by everyone in the public...

not for nothing but Regis and Kathy love to here themselves and cut her off all the time. I want to here from her not from them. Its annoying and she was very graceful about being annoyed lol.

I'm not a fan. I don't follow her work and don't really recall anything else that I've seen her in, in particular. But her portrayal of Stands with a Fist was incredible. I watched this movie numerous times. I hate to take anything away from the other actors in this by praising Mary too much, but when she was on screen... she stole my attention each and every time. I watch a lot of movies closely, and am usually not impressed very often. Mary, however, in this role, made you feel the pain and despair of her past and then the hope of her future. Simply an amazing standout performance in the midst of so many amazing performances by everybody else in this classic.

She was in The Closer and lead actress in it's spin off, Major Crimes for almost 10 years. She is also a very accomplished theatre actress.

Her hair! That was the only thing in the movie that really bugged me. Why wasn't her hair long and in braids like the other women in the tribe? Why would it be treated any different and have different lengths, even if it was curly? It stood out as a flaw to me.
@paulsteel9127Ай бұрын
Mary's wild "hair metal" look is KC's fault. He was also sporting a rockstar mullet. 😂 Though I found it amusing, but Mary's awful hair was unforgivable.

Its so wonderful to hear how politically incorrect our speech was back in those days of freedom of speech. Everyone didn't get but hurt every time someone said something about anything back then. I loved my country back then, today it is but a self destructive cesspool.
