this is so so good n underrated. beyond just the inherent genius of 'anthy as a christ figure but w the added twist of her being mary -- i.e. female' you did a very satisfying job of matching lyrics w scenes, particularly in the verses! and those shots of swords flashing to the beat at 3:06 is so so good and effective

I know the line is "you go down just like Holy Mary", but my ears refuse not to hear "you go down just like Going Merry". Which... actually fits Utena surprisingly well in the end (the fact you framed the song as being addressed to Anthy nothwithstanding).

I used a slowed down version from youtube, so it's not exactly the one on spotify. It's my favorite version, though!
