Mary Plummer of Blackmagic Design Presents New AI Update to DaVinici Resolve and Fairlight Audio

Mary Plummer of Blackmagic Design presents the many enhanced Fairlight audio features in DaVinci Resolve 19.1 including native AI based Track FX, IntelliTrack AI based point tracker for audio panning to video, built in EQ with realtime analysis, improved automation and sidechain processing, plus editing by transcription, and new immersive audio workflows. The presentation was given as part of the 2024 DCS Focus on Post event held November 23rd at ARRI, Burbank.

One of the issues is that Mary isn't let the audio examples play long enough for our ear to figure out what we are trying to hear, and also she talks over the audio to quickly, we can't follow what she is trying to show us. Most of her examples, I can't hone in on what she is trying to show.

Apologies to Mary and the online viewers; there was a tech snafu where we lost the audio for her internal recording of the presentation. The sound in the room, (not going through the board,) was OK for the audience, but not good enough quality from the on-camera mics to judge, which is why it was cut short.
