I have a wildbird ring sling and it seriously helps SO MUCH with my 3 month old. He will sleep for hours while he's in it and it gives me the ability to get stuff accomplished 🙌🏼

i agree mary my little boy never kept his mittens on so we (me) braved cutting his nails early on. And my son was never fussed on dummies too so hes never had one. You guys are doing fab enjoy your journey :) ps shes adooorable!!!

INCOMING ADVICE! You said about Boss jumping on people; with our Labrador, whenever she jumped we'd turn our backs to her and ignore her until she'd calm down. We'd also use the command "Down" in a firm tone to keep her sitting. After a few months of training, she stopped jumping. We're really glad it worked because of my grandparents' poor health, and it might be worth a try for you two with a baby in the house. I hope this helps!

dragon heaven the nature in Finland to me seems like to be a lot like Canada or Alaska. Lots of forests and lakes. Long dark winters and midnight sun during summer. It's worth visiting! I don't suggest people only visit the capital Helsinki though because the rest of the country is very different.

I think the good thing about pacifiers is when it's time to get rid of them, theyre easier to throw away but when kids get hooked on sucking the thumbs, its much harder to stop. But I am going off experience as an aunt. Do what you feel is best for Layla :)

Brittney Torres I know someone those sister was sooo hard to stop using the pacifiers, she needed an operation for her broken teeth but still wouldn't let go of it It helped that in our zoo we have a tree full of pacifiers for little children, that are ready to not use it anymore, was the ONLY thing that saved her teeth xD

Call the different vets around you and ask if they take reptiles. I know the clinic I work for here in Mississippi doesn't advertise that we take in reptiles but every now and then we get snakes in that we care for.

When my nephew was Layla's age we used socks on his hands when he slept, to prevent the scratching. If you don't like the idea of mittens, or if she pulls those off really easily, maybe socks would work out easier since it's a different shape and while she's asleep? Hey Ken, just a little idea for Pancakes trouble with eating. Have you looked into if she had like, selective eating? This often happens where a snake may only identify dark or light mice as food and not accept anything else as their food.

Ken knows how to make a pancake. Just the right amount of syrup too. What I do is I take a butter knife and cut slits into it before I drown it in syrup.

Layla is such a lovely baby she's so cute :) My mum and Dad found the best old wives baby tip was if they baby gets a cold put a little bit of butter on the baby's nose to unblock it because you can't give them anything thing for a blocked nose it's helps :)

My daughter sleeps with her eyes open sometimes too (she's six months old now). Also glad to know I'm not the only one proud of trying "Dad" things. As for pacifiers, we've had to uses ours for teething, otherwise she's never bothered, hopefully Layla will be the same. I forget the age range but in the beginning especially when the baby isn't latching super well, pacifiers aren't the best idea, but later on for soothing it isn't as detrimental, until they get teeth. But yay listening to your doctor and self! Your baby your choice.

The thing about pacifiers is that if your baby gets used to her finger, you cannot take the finger away when she grows up! The pacifier you can. My baby was less than 2 years when he stopped using his. He only used it to sleep, because I kinda feel the same way that you do about the matter. But I was afraid that he would get attached to his thumb instead
