Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful grandma's story. I am just seething with anger and resentment on your grandma's account towards our healthcare system which is falling wayyyyy short. She deserved better. I'm also an anal cancer thriver who fortunately, despite the pandemic and some delays in diagnosis, received treatment a lot sooner. Two years out after treatment, I am so far, so good. Also, the ACF immediately hooked me up with someone else who had been through the process and it kept me from feeling so alone. Yes, in spite of having good family support like yours, this diagnosis DOES still make one feel alone! Sending hugs and good vibes to you and yours. Your grandma was unique and special, and I'm so sorry for your loss, which came too soon.

Im so sorry she had to go thru all of the horrible treatments and not being able to see a doctor early on. Thank you for sharing her journey .
