This is. So. Fitting. I didn't even realize how fitting it was until each lyric passed... *SPOILERS* 0:05 Just another dressed up heartbreak. That doesn't even need explaining if you've seen the series, especially the last season. 0:36 Bash (in the series) really pretended not to see her for his wife's sake in the later seasons, but he still loved her. 0:44 Most people who met Mary obeyed her or they didn't have a happy ending. 1:58 Mary was three days shy of eighteen when Francis died (in real life). 2:38 Throughout the seasons, Francis, Bash, Gideon, and Bothwell all fell in love with her, and she with each of them, but she never got to keep any of them. 3:25 When she first came to France in the series, her naivety was a sort of teenage daydream.

When Mary gets to heaven, she joins francis and immediately tells him how hard it has been. Her life was one of struggle for many, many years! Finally, she would have some peace and his enduring love after fighting, mainly on her own, for a very long time!
