I'm interested in knowing the inspiration behind the word structure/grammar choice of the lyrics. Why is it "so you know that I was home"? (Or "know'd" as the description displays it. I'm not sure if that is a typo, as there are other typos but it is repeated.) I would think "so you'll know that I am home" fits better but I'm also thinking there is a reason it was structured this way, perhaps. I love the song btw, it's just my OCD brain. I always cry at the end!
