Yes, I agree. I’m not a gardener so wasn’t sure if anything could grow in that rocky soil. I’m happy to see that something does. May that garden be prosperous and that lots of good, healthy plants come out of it 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’m sure Mr. Operator is working on that. This family is needful of many things. They’re lucky that they can borrow stuff to make their bread as they don’t own their tools (sifter, rolling pin, pan to cook it on). Yes, new clothes are important but so are other things. And just like others of us around the world, money is limited so you spend on what is priority.

It’s good that you mention though. This green tunic and skirt that Maryam now wears was given to her by her son Mohammed Amin, her third child*. He worked very hard without her knowing about it and bought her the dress to surprise her because her old dress had torn. I’ll go back and look for that episode and post it here for you to go see.

Go back about a month ago. Title of video is “Nomadic life in Zagros, Iran. Maryam’s hard life. She struggles with problems.” The picture shows Mohammed Amin giving her the dress. She’s daubing her eyes because she is tearful that her son did this for her. The time on the video is 19:22 with 1.7k views. I’m giving you the extra info because there are other videos with the same title.

I understand what you are saying. She’s done all this work to improve the area to make it livable, has been cleaning it up constantly and nicely, but now this happens with the son telling her that she doesn’t have permission from him to live there; pay rent or leave. It’s unfortunate that the mother didn’t tell Maryam about this situation with her older son. She probably felt sorry for Maryam and her children so let them stay anyways. I hope that all works out so that the family can stay. Maryam works very hard for this family. She never says no when they need help. When she is given something, she shares with them too.
