I was considering buying this since I have really bad texture on my chin from hormonal acne, I'm glad I watched reviews 1st. It is awesome when someone is honest about products instead of just hyping up products that are trash either for trends or because they're paid to do so. Thank you so much for the honest review and the close up views!

I was debating buying this cuz I have oily skin, since it says it’s ‘matte’ but i try to avoid anything luminous unless it’s a blush, as long as it’s more iridescent than glittery. I’m so glad I watched this instead of buying it. I have followed you for years, your videos are very helpful.

Im obsessed with the new powder. One because its talc free. Two because I have dry to normal and three because it stayed perfectly on the skin but also felt so silky and blurring! The original was my fave 10 years ago but now its way too heavy on my skin.

They new powder definitly looks more dewy and enhance textures...I wanted to buy it so much since i have oily skin but there is oil in the ingredient (i think sunflower seed oil?) That's why i skipped on it and now that im seeing this i do not regret haha! Plus there is less powder and its more expensive... I think the powder is not that bad but its marketed with the wrong claim obviously. Amazing video btw i love everything you do ❤️

Happy Sunday Question: "What is the difference between a pressed powder and a powder foundation?
@MaryamMaquillage2 жыл бұрын
Pigmentation mainly. A powder foundation also is supposed to prevent your skin from drying out, whereas a pressed powder is supposed to go on top and “dry out” the shine from your foundation
@retiredluvrgirl2 жыл бұрын
a pressed powder is just like loose powder but in a loose form. it simply sets your makeup. some pressed powders do have color, but it's just a sheer tint, not enough to cover. a powder foundation will pack a lot more pigment. well, depending on the formula of course, because some are fuller coverage than others. but essentially, powder foundations aren't really made to set your liquid foundation unless u want to add more coverage! a lot of people love to just use liquid foundation and/or concealer to conceal, set with a pressed or loose powder all over, and then use a smaller brush and pack the powder foundation on blemishes to keep the concealer from wearing off on that specific spot and add coverage on top of that concealer.. i hope that made sense lol 😅

That’s weird! It looks amazing on my skin I love it so much ( the new one I mean) Gives a flawless finish and it’s not flat matte on ur face. Also hides the pores pretty well because of the blurring priorities in there . I hated the old one . I looked 80 years old lol

This is the first video I have seen from you and your honesty is awesome which brings this question to my mind. My skin is like yours; with that being said I would prefer to use one powder to control shine for a long time, keep foundation in place and blur large pores. If you could choose one powder albeit a setting powder, or a compact powder or a finishing powder which would it be? Thanks for being honest so I can at least buy one product and give it a good try. (not sure if this forum is for questions so messaged from face book with the same question :)

I don't get why they would make a blurring powder that reflects light. It's very commom for light reflecting products to accentuate skin texture which is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what this powder claims to do.

Lol, here's the thought process it feels like LM put into releasing this powder: "Hey, we need to make a blurring talc-free powder to appeal to the anti-talc community, and add some light reflects too because that's trendy." "Wait, it's way harder to make a good blurring powder without talc... especially when throwing reflects into the mix. This isn't even turning out as effective as our OG powder... But oh, well, let's just release it as is!" "Then how do we get a ton of people to be interested in this powder?" "Market it as if it's somehow better or more exciting than the OG by calling it ULTRA BLURRING even though it's not. 😌👍🏽" 😅 They should've just marketed this powder to those with dry skin and minimal texture if they were happy with the result of this formula. That market exists. Seems like they were aiming for a "universal" powder formula that appealed to every concern, but weren't willing to make the effort to achieve it. Thanks for the ever thorough review! Keeping it real! 👏🏽
