6 weeks is when we check in on maternal mental health perinatal mental health. How you doing girl. Really?!. How are you adjusting to this new for ever role, of mum. You are magnificent a daughter, sister,, cousin, niece, aunty, wife and now mum. You are fantastically courageous. Give yourself a hug,. Sending out love to all you mums out there. MC Welldone!! My aunt was shit scared of going under knives and for almost2/3years fear allowed her go through the pains alongside with a swelling stomach that would make market women call a single virgin iya ibeji. I will never forget the time she walked in to the empty room I was sat on the floor, holding to her stomach and crying deeply saying repeatedly, “God why me” for a very very strong believer. She eventually had to do it cause it was taking a toll on her and 3 patients that were scheduled for the surgery, the 2 before her died. 1 who was An elderly woman. To cut the long story short, she had complications after and they had to take her in again if I remember correctly and I remember her calling my mum 3am on Sunday morning that the pains was too much incase she died. she was “paper white” as the nurses said. She needed more blood too but all in all it had to be sourced for. I will never forget that out of the few pieces I saw of the fibroid inn the container they had put hers in, one was as big as a fist. They almost had to remove her uterus but she kept yelling that they shouldn’t. I’m glad she’s fine and she’s can move on now. This is for us to check ups seriously as yyouu said.. ❤️

If I talk about how when she was admitted probably they passed a tube to her stomach so she wasn’t eaten solids, I’d just be attempting a novel.

Chai why do I feel u told my story about the fibroids…..I’m currently 40weeks with fibroids and I also experienced the exact pain you experienced in my second trimester and that pain was excruciating for real …all I ask God is for safe delivery too

I was able to shower after 12 days for my first and 8 days for my second. Everyone experience is different. The doc gave me a pass because he said I healed up fast and my incision area was closed. I still waited 2 extra day to be sure.

Listen to your mom, she is very right. The hot water will help cleanse and restore the stomach. Especially, for us who didn’t get the hot water massage as compared to the VD method. Seee…. We all will be fine jare 😅😅😅
