@@hectortorres8188 His influence started in Spiritual black dimensions. Do you really think all those synth layers were Shagraths idea? It has become uninspired. Dont get me wrong, I think ENTHRONE was one of their best albums (before Mustis) but Dimmu is way over their head with the standard Oyvind left them!

@@wilfredheerspink5246 Wrong, Mustis sucks, if he is so good why hasn't he done anything. Pruritanical and Death cult were good because there was an entire orchestra, and they had really good formation. Spiritual black dimensions... do you know who Nagash is? (have you heard those master pieces nexus polaris and animatronic?) Ha, no, those keyboards aren't by any means Mustis' ideas. Then we have "In sorte.." no orchestra, tired ideas, it sucks, is it also Mustis fault? no, he isn't responsible for anything... later they came with Abrahadabra, and it's better than in sorte, i would say, they managed things very well without those 2. They fired vortex for forgetting his instrument and going into a drunken rage smashing a glass on his forehead. One of them signed a copy of an album and went to auction it on ebay with just his signature out of greed. As for Mustis I here's a snippet from his statement regarding leaving the band: "address the fact that many songs written by me had not been registered properly under my name in their credits. Without naming every single track, let us just say that a good majority of albums like 'Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia' and 'In Sorte Diaobli' would have been vastly different had I not composed and created as much as I actually did,"

First mistake: kick Mustis Second mistake: kick Vortex Third mistake: kick Barker. That's the downfall of creativity from DB.

Absolute powerhouse rhythm section. The best really, and Vortex's voice as well, and Mustis composition, and Barker's blastbeasts, glad I got to see this incarnation live

I played viola for years and was really into classical music and also was into metal. (Late 90’s like Slipknot) but Puritanical was my gateway album to more refined metal and led me to many more great Scandinavian bands that are my core musical preferences.

Best display of piano playing skills I have ever seen or heard. This is up there with Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach

@Jesse Bowles . Totally agree. Sadly even classic music is underground, can you imagine if a metal guy is playing it better ? The ''elite'' wont ever accept that he could be better than a mythic composer. Only metal fans see this i guess.. Hey look at the guy he must take drugs

Nah dude, there arent many metal piano players, and this guy is the best of them all. And could probably rival those bigger names I named

Is he aware of the narratives he is channeling in these melodies? Either way, thank you genius. And also for adding the strings in the full version. I can almost hear where the other realms start to overlap. So good!

I'm more an alternative/progressive rock person, not a big fan of metal but Mustis was the only reason i was listening too Dimmu, i hate that they fired him,he's an amazing pianist and very talented artist. Dimmu does not exist for me anymore since Mustis left.

@@sebek755 No. The bearded dude is Gunnar Sauermann. A German metal journalist. Silenoz has his little beard tightly wrapped, whilst Gunnar has a thick full beard. They are both in the background
