This reminds me of that train vhs I had with this railroad and Conrail and Chicago and CSX sandpatch and finished with Cajon pass and was narrated by a British guy. Footage looked like from late 80s. Anyone remember or own it.

Nice this most be old cause the blue train dose not have a thing on the front saying Maryland midland and back then in the 19s the blue train was a gp9 but now is a sd40 and the 303 is not a train anymore I think or its left somewhere anyways great film

Yeah, it’s pretty old. They sold the GP9’s to Central Georgia R.R. in 2008 or 9 and GP38-3AC’s 302-306 are now Central Oregon Pacific Units. But 300 still wears MMID paint but is 2060 now and 301 is still on the Maryland Midland but is renumbered 2061. The SD40M-2’s were never on the MMID until 2015 when the CORP Units left.

The four modified/downgraded SD45-2's (3448-3451) that Maryland Midland G&W/Corp simply but possibly not correctly labeled SD40-2's arrived in Union Bridge MD in late August 2014. Not long after that ex MMID GP38-3AC's 302-306 that had been repainted about 7-8 months prior into Central Oregon & Pacific 2062-2066 G&W/Corp Orange, Yellow, and Black was taken to Highfield MD for CSX to pick up.
