I managed to prepare this easter egg and it was a success and everyone enjoyed, thank you wendy, you are beauty with brains and all your recipes are too good and a must try. God bless you. Only issue I faced I was not able to shape the easter eggs the way you have done so beautifully. But I will try to do that another time again.

Ever so cute Wendy. Thanks. May I share a tip: If you want them to last longer, use corn syrup instead of water. For brown lines on the carrot, lightly dip your knife in cocoa powder. i use the same almond flour as you, it’s great, nice and fine. Thanks for the awesome post.

I tried your recipe taste was really yummy. Only concern I had when I was mixing colour to it , too much oil was extracting out of it. Could you please give me some tips on this

Sally be very gentle when mixing the colour with the dough you could even add a little more water to make the colour mix easily.
