I can’t blame defence on that goal because they carried us through the game and if you’ve played football you will understand that such things happen, these are human beings after all and we shouldn’t make noise over one mistake. I was upset with the strickers because that is where we lost the game; Rayners: Our weakest link on the day, shooting in awkward spaces rather than passing Shasha: Not composed in front of goal, but I can’t blame this dude because after being benched for absolutely no reason he lost a bit of confidence and puts too much pressure on himself. Matthews: There’s no reason to start him before Letlaku at the moment because he is not in form. From the inception we never changed our style of play even during our first CAF Champions League in 2001 where we lost to Ahly by 4-1 aggregate we tried to be street smart and it didn't work. However, we will to well this season 😅😂

Masadawana this league I am not worried about wining it. To me it is common cause that we are going to win it. My worry though is about CAF winning. We can talk a lot about stlye of play but to me it blows down to passion of the players and techinical team planning to the very small details. I mean how do you draw a game that was so important to us to win to top the group after leading for so long. Some people we saying winning with big score is not important. What is the difference between drawing 0-0 or 1-1. I just pray that we have the right passion from players and planning to the smallest details.

Win the CAF Champions League but DO NOT LOOSE your identity. We (Mamelodi Sundowns FC) can't afford to loose our (Mamelodi Sundowns FC) identity just because you want to the CAF Champions League. The same style of football that has won the PSL league 7 times in row, will win you the CAF Champions League.

Sundowns didn't win it's first CAFCL with Shoe Shine and Piano. They won it by winning matches the champions league way. The level of competition and game play in the CAFCL is 10x different in all leagues. Shoe Shine and Piano didn't take us to the CAFCL finals in 9 years. We need to adapt to the game play of each competition

I am going to come here and state facts. The reason we failed to win champions league in the past was due to lack of support from the psl. Let's not be afraid to state facts. I am shocked that this season we and Pirates are being given a week to prepare for games. Look how easily we won the AFL. The boys were fresh as it was early on the season. The same team was tired due to fixture congestion. Let's also look at teams in SA that were taking part in the CAF competitions, no team was able to maintain the Same momentum in both league and CAF games. Some teams even got relegated. And when we look at the Northern Africa teams, they are being given time to prepare and are supported by the leagues. You will find Al Ahly 10 games behind the rest of the teams. But this season, we are not at our best so I don't think we will win even if we were to b given time to prepare.
