Masato Kai | 20 Years Old Monster of the Vertical Jump !!! Masato Kai (甲斐 優斗, Kai Masato, born 25 September 2003) is a Japanese male volleyball player and an Olympian. He plays as an outside hitter for the Japan men's national volleyball team.
The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association.
Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.
Japan won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, followed by silver at Mexico 1968 and a gold at Munich 1972. The years after this have been less successful. Japan missed three successive Olympic Games before returning at Beijing 2008, where they failed to win a match. Japan then failed to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games and also missed Rio 2016 after finishing seventh at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo.

It's a real rarity for a young player to be this confident! I mean he even smiles during the plays! I'm sure that plays a huge role in maintaining his high standard. Hopefully the pressure will never let him forget what an incredible player he is!

I am probably not the obly one who noticed this but did you guys see how well he played the 3 Men Blocks? He can see the gaps between the Blocks and uses them to even score. I have never seen smth like that before! He is the Future of team Japan 🎉🤩🤩
