Hi TT Bro, nice compilations of One of my legend Defender: Masato Shiono. After pay close attention at Shiono Backhand Chop, I realise that Shiono are more using Float defensive chops on backhand rather than Straight Chops. The Floating chops I think are more controllable but rather slower, I can do both straight or Floating Chops but for backhand I still prefer more straight Chops like Joo Se Hyuk styles, because it is more Flat, a bit speed than Float and more direct. Well what do you think? Thanks :)

As far as I know, Masato used to use the p4 chop on the backhand and the pimples on this rubber are way softer than other pimples, p4 is quite similar to Feint long if I'm not mistaken, so the chops tends to be much more slower and less spinny than hard pimples rubbers

Is it weird for a defender to use inverted rubber on both sides? I’m a chopper who uses heaps of backspin but I’ve used inverted rubber all my life. I’ve never tried playing with pimples, long or short.

Hey! No it’s not weird. There’s defender in Ukraine Telnoy Nikolai. He’s using inverted rubbers on both side. And his defense is very good. Here is link kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXSQmJ1jd6iFmMU U can try some cheap long or short pips just for fun.

not quite as effective as Joo Se Hyuk, but very tenacious and stubborn.
