The cicadas were quite a turn off. I also wonder why such a dramatic piece was done outside. Seems like it would need walls to contain the Immensity and intensity of the sound. Nice soprano though. Maybe less vibrato. And great tenors towards the end. Very resonant and full. At the beginning I wasn’t sure the tenors had turned up but by the middle and to end they sure were there. Nice one. Inside next time. Btw- all the different color dresses were a distraction.
