Great video, thanks! I feel all caught up with 2.2- which is such a game changer in terms of melodic live performance! Anybody who came to Maschine from a musician background just uttered a sigh of relief:)
@mhazani10 жыл бұрын
Also, one thing worth mentioning is that with the SEMI- and + buttons you can change your root notes to whatever pitch you want, based on your scale, etc. I think I'm going to hang around in fixed C but it's a useful trick:)

Very inspirational! I just updated to Komplete 10 and the latest maschine update and it's phenomenal. Maschine is very musical and useful for both production and performance. I find the pads to be a joy to play including that they're velocity sensitive. Just starting to use this so I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all :)

Thanks for your videos ! Finally, I wonder if the little Maschine models are not more useful than the "big" studio version which looks attractive but if we are used to check and edit with the mouse on the computer screen, it seems that MiKro and MK2 are more practical (for dimensions and just for relay functions on the hardware). Most videos are focused on the hardware but do the Maschine sequencer software is not explicit enough to work with (except for the lack of info for these new scale and chord features) ?? ADSR : Don't you plan to go with the Studio ?
@Adsrsounds10 жыл бұрын
wolf34drevon Personally, I think one of the main attraction points for Maschine users is the tightly integrated sotware/hardware workflow. It's interesting that you suggest the smaller ones are more practical--most people find the Mikro a bit tedious to use with all the menu digging. However, those complaints are usually from people who want to work only with the hardware! So if you don't mind using the computer as much, the Mikro would be just fine. You can do the quick shortcuts on there as well as playing the pads and then use the mouse and keyboard for other things. The software is fine to work in, I think! Some odd quirks here and there but not bad at all. I have a Studio as well and more videos are coming for that!

Do you guys have a tutorial on using Chords in the step sequencer? Is it even possible? I’m running latest version of Maschine software on a Mikro MK3 . Thanks

Say you want to play a chord that isn't part of the scale is there any way to incorporate it into the active pads. Example I want to play the chord progression Emaj7 C#Mi F#mi and B9sus4 . however B9sus4 isn't in the scale. is there anyway to do that?

Hello ! Thank you, the video is super informative. The framing on the drumpad does not show it in full Therefore, I do not see the key on the top left that you press. And also, when I press "Our repeat" it does not offer the same options as you. It's normal ? Did I change a setting? Please help me ! Thank you !

Hello, I have been watching your tutorials for some time and I feel like they are the best I have seen to date. I have contacted tech support countless times about a issue that I feel a lot of users have and I was curious if you had a similar experience. No matter what PC I install Maschine on, the hardware will freeze intermittently. I've sent it back and bought a new one and still had the same problem. I thought maybe if I buy a new lenovo Yoga 900 laptop that would certainly solve the issue which it has not. I'm at a dead road here and I really love Maschine but I don't know who to go to since NI is unaware of this issue. Is there a easy fix? I've done all the troubleshooting they have listed with optimizing audio for PC, disabling internet, changing usb cables, turning off suspend usb settings, plugging into only one usb port. Nothing works. The freeze happens whenever I'm finger drumming. The software continues to run but the hardware will have no response for about 10-15 seconds then it becomes active again. Not sure what the issue is. Can you help? Do you know about this?

@Adsrsounds10 жыл бұрын
Danny Peculiarbleeps Maschine 2 has an "import Maschine 1.8 file format" function--you'll have to do that for each project I think, but they will transfer over!

Maschine = the ultimate groovebox! it's like Roland MC boxes x 1000 because it's practically unlimited to what computer you have (RAM memory etc). It's even too much. I have Maschine only since late 2011 (MKI) and it was fun for years. After that BIG update (upgrade) a fat year ago i still was drooling around with the basics of Massive and Reaktor! untill i found out a few weeks ago that it came with MONARK, DRUMLAB, RETRO MACHINES, WEST AFRICA.... holy shit..... Too much O_O i can't even imagine if you get the full Komplete package (that's just ridiculous IMO).
