used something like that machine in my DJ set in 1992 could only play 4 samples lol started to use an S2000 sampler in live DJ sets with a control keyboard, then only ended up with just 1 turn table for scratching and a rackmount full of synths, now most of my kit is just software based, saves loads of space and no tripping over midi leads

Whats up Gabriel....Thanks for chekcing me out. I would say Maschine is a good start...BUT... If I were you I would get a DAW also (or first) and a bunch of nice VST's. I only say this cause you can doo full songs with something like Logic (if you got mac) or Cubase or Ableton...etc... Maschine is a beast..but until they do the new update it cant sequence external (or VST) instruments.I know you said you are a beginner,,, so expect a learning curve with watever you get...but STICK WITH IT !!
