@@BeauTylerMakesMusicGreat stuff Beau! Any advice on how to load/import a track let's say from Mpc beats or studio One INTO Maschine? It's a fairly long drum pattern I don't want to re trigger from my mpc beats. I'd love to get it into maschine so I can add guitars & vox..VoX... Any advice or direction would be highly appreciated... thanks again for what you do!

So a while back I saw you're breakdown of your tune "Kung Fu" cause I'm just getting into beatmaking and picked up an Akai force. Awesome tune by the way. It recently sent me down a little rabbit hole with some of your music and f*** man, You are dope. You're songs have that thing. Song structure is amazing. Lyrics are great. Tunes got me jamming. Keep up what you're doing man. You are very insightful as well. I will admit I will be quicker to click on a video that says Akai force on it but ether way. If it's a tune you're making. I'm here for it.

Wow thanks so much! The Akai Force is a great purchase! I do use Maschine more than the Force, but I've just been terrible about making videos with the Force for several technical reasons. I'll be making more of an effort to film some more Force content in 2022, though. Thanks so much for the kindness!

Very Cool Video, Thx man! I am new to this; what would you rather recommend for stand-alonge songwriting with guitar as inspiration: Maschine plus or Aka MPC one plus? did you record guitar with an audio-Interface? thx
@BeauTylerMakesMusic Жыл бұрын
Yo. MPCs and Maschine's are both awesome! I prefer the Maschine because he workflow is a bit quicker. Albeit, they're both kind of stronge concepts at first but you'll get the hang of it fast. However, for a straight up singer/songwriter who plays a guitar a lot, I'd recommend the Akai Force if you want to go entirely stand alone. If you're okay with hooking into the computer or laptop then I'd recommend Maschine. To answer your other question, In this video I was in fact going through an audio interface, because I was already in my studio, But the Maschine and MPC both have built in audio interfaces. :)
@berry5959 Жыл бұрын
@@BeauTylerMakesMusic thx! why does akai force fit better for that?
@BeauTylerMakesMusic Жыл бұрын
Hmm, I'd say probably just because it worked with my workflow well to be able to construct the song with their arranger. :)

@@BeauTylerMakesMusic cool - thx Beau! One more thin pls: My wish is to find a modus how I get into Producing songs in the evening after work. It should be simple and fun. - I have Ideas and I would like to get better in putting them into songs within a regular evening habit. I have an Ipad with Logic pro - also a MAC and Interfaces etc. Do you think the Akai force would help me in this regard, or is just the next excuse? Will I rather make progress with using Ipad and Logic Pro and sketch/produce my ideas without excuses. Or has the Akai Force this magic (as stand-alone unite)to keep you as producer/hobbyist focused and willing to have fun with the device. thx for your response. BR

Very cool. I’m torn between Maschine and Akai Force. Currently have an MPC Live but not in love with the workflow or the pads. Does the Maschine 3 plus allow you to record full length audio tracks / eg get a beat going and then lay down a 3-4 min audio track and then save that/export it as an mp3? Kind of after a glorified multitrack recorder / groove box on one :)
@BeauTylerMakesMusic10 ай бұрын
Absolutely it does! I often recommend the Kforce to people, but if you’re not in love with the MPC workflow, then I probably wouldn’t recommend the force to you. That being said, the force does have an entirely different set of options than the MPC, but the workflow is still very very similar.

Great video Beau. I’m a guitar player and I am wondering how did connect your guitar to Maschine. I figured your are using guitar rig which I have. Just wondering how it’s done.
@BeauTylerMakesMusic2 жыл бұрын
Hi Michel! Thanks so much! I just plug in direct when recording in Maschine. The only issue is that you can’t hear your effects while you’re recording since Madchine is, at its heart, a sampler and not actually a traditional DAW. However, with some quick routing changes you can fix the issue. At 1:41 in the video I show what to do so that you can monitor your guitar rig effects in real time. If I go over it too quickly then check out Jef Gibbons’ video on routing guitar and using Guitar Rig. He does a step by step guide that I’ve personally watched at least 5 times myself. ❤️🙏✌️
@micheltaillefer33362 жыл бұрын
@@BeauTylerMakesMusic thanks Beau. I will check Jef Gibbons. He’s great and so are you. Damn you guys know your Maschine. I have a long way to go. I come from a DAW workflow and still do but I want to incorporate Maschine for creativity and ideas.

Is this being piped through an iPad as well? Trying to figure out that setup with my Maschine+.
@BeauTylerMakesMusicАй бұрын
No sir. I used to put the overlay of the software on my iPad while editing the video so people could follow along without switching camera views often. Too many thought it was real, rather than just an effect, so I stopped :)
