MASCHINE TUTORIAL: Using Chord, and Scale Modes On The Maschine & Komplete Kontrol

In this video in my Maschine Tutorial series I will demonstrate using the Chord mode and scale mode on the Maschine and also the Komplete Kontrol which are both Native Instruments hardware. Using these features will help you make better beats and also help learn music theory a little bit faster!

🗣I COMMAND that you tell me...🤣... aight, I'm asking for how you got KeyScape to load into Maschine? I currently have Omnisphere 2 and I have it running via S1v3 Professional. If you're familiar with the Sounds and Gear guy, St. Joe, he previewed a template for Omni1 specifically made for Maschine but it wouldn't handle Omni2. I'd greatly appreciate the info!!! And thanks for the chord/scale tips... from a seasoned keyboardist!!👍🏾👊🏾

No problem! You have to run a scan from the maschine plug in preferences menu. It should come up from there, and you add it like any other vst.

I wanted to use that as a tool to study some modes from other countries. Does it show the keys in the scale on the screen. Since I don't have the komplete kontrol keyboard.

Can you access chord mode and scale directly in the software? It sounds funny but I'm currently just running an S49 in maschine

You can access it from the s49. You have to go into keyboard mode to change the scale. And then turn the scale on.

I find that the chord sets are limited. I dont feel it actually has the major progression but instd its major chords everywhere

You have to play them a certain way. Like the next pad may not be the best option. Sometimes I make my own chords with being in scale.
