Maserati Biturbo Spyder Restoration - Part 1 - Introduction

This is an introduction of me overhauling a Maserati Biturbo Spyder 2.8 Litre.
In this part one can see a timeline of the vehicles I used to own and some still do.
This Is basically a small summary wrapped up as to show that to acquire any kind of skill it usually has a long history of trials and failures.
The key is if first you don't succeed you try again.... and again..... and again.......and another try till one day you realise that by the time you acquired one particular skill, unknowingly many other skills have been acquired along the way.

It's all about the look and aura they emit. This Maserati has something that renders it distinct from the rest.

Lovely car! To think that at the time of it's release it was intended to compete against the contemporary BMW 3-series, personally I think they are so far apart as the Milky Way and Andromeda. Looks even nicer as the years go by.

Have really enjoyed your videos on the Biturbo. You have the patience of a Saint. Outstanding job. Am beginning to rebuild my 1987 2.5 Spyder. I come on here for reassurance. Absolutely love the car.

My mate from Poland was in USA in 1997 and he was working in kind of Disneyland park, there were many Latinos working with him and they asked him ''What is your car in Poland?'' and he said ''Daihatsu Charade'' and they said ''what engine (motor)?'' and he said ''1.3 petrol'' so they have said ''is it a lawn mower?'' and just laughed of him, but then he said ''I can easily beat your Buick Roadmaster from 0-60 drag race'' which was true! Ps Maserati Biturbo, the most underrated car of the eighties! Well done Mate, well done. Ps My stepfather had a Citroen AX 1.0 and he always loved this car.

Cheers mate, I guess it's all about how you set up the vehicle. I always preferred 80's and 90's cars for their looks even though they come with a lot of issues when not being simple in design.
