@@jjay350 Good to know it isn't just me or my car then. 😁 Slow, stop/start crawling on a hill (always when in traffic) is pretty much impossible to start without a bit of shudder. It was the perfect daiky compliment to my modena and its hard to find two cars that together make a wonderful and experienced drive. Another example woukd be a 2008 rs4 stick and a 2008 r8. Stick. If you want newer a good duo would be a alfa guila quadrafilago and a ferrari f8 tributo. These are wonderful 2 car patches. Can probabku get a manual r8 and rs4 2008 for 140k for both. It is as they say. It's good for the track because you get a quick gear change. But it's not practical.
@Keisuke4215 жыл бұрын
Oh I def agree. The WRC cars use them, and they can shift from 1st to 6th gear back down to first, faster than a normal clutch or pedal can up shift once. So, it is much better for racing. I just like a clutch pedal for fun. =P Heal and Toe FTW
@Keisuke4215 жыл бұрын
All shifting should be done before you enter the corner anyway. But, I can't say cause I have never tried a flappy pedal gear box.
@Keisuke4215 жыл бұрын
Nope. I've driven on a track with an instructor next to me, and he said that if you shift in a corner, it upsets the balance of the car because if you press the clutch, you are disconnecting the engine from the tires. But, the transition might be smoother with a computer controlled manual transmission. But, I do all my down shifting while I am braking for a corner, once I am in the right gear for entry, I don't shift until I accelerate to redline out of the corner.
