ok, what happened to the battery and engine after you gut this cable? is it still ok today or did the battery and wiring overheat, melt or something? seen super soco cutting cables like this and the wiring melted and it was destoryed

bannerbomb1 haha yes that's right. It's not so strong at the highest speed, but it's possible to drive 80 km / h and it's so easy to fix - and to restore.

Worked well for man thanks man few tips for people planning to do this. -make sure you have the euro 3 (so not the one's made after 2017) -after you cut the wire and are driving with the bike make sure to let the engine get familiar with the new found power

Joel_ 5103 hi man i am not sure you could try it, i made it so that i can reattacht the wire, so if you can do that you can try, if that doesnt work you can just easily buy an new cpi for 80 kmh and install that they are really easy to find

You could put a bigger carburettor on it, maybe weight shedding? Supreme fuel, aftermarket air intake, race spark plug, straight through exhaust.

Viggo hey, yes, it should go well according to someone here in the thread. Everything can be blown up but cutting the cable will only restore the engine to original power.

Ingen aning. Jag köpte en fransk moped tillverkad i kina - i Lettland. Den har gått 900 mil nu. Största ”problemet” är att jag måste spänna kedjan var 50:e mil.

Not really. The green cord is a concession to the EU's speed rules for mopeds. By cutting the cord, you let the engine work as it was intended to do. But it is clear that it also gives you the opportunity to damage the engine by driving on too high revs.

Funderar på samma sak, kollade på min och det är inte samma färg på kablarna. Den som är grön är röd/vit på motsvarande plats, men man kan ju testa, går ju löda ihop igen om de e fel 😊

Hello, if i would put a small switch on the green cable, would that act as a restriction that i can turn on and of? So that if i get stopped by the police i just flick the switch and the cable gets “connected” again so it just goes 45

Rick, I did that. It's still illegal but a little harder to detect. I mounted a wireless switch to the green cord and always have the remote control in my pocket. 45/70 km / h.

Hmm, I probably do not understand what you want to do. If you cut the cord, the moped goes fast. If you want it undone, you put the cord back together.

Hi, it sure works. It can be hard to reach 80km/h in normal conditions. But 70+ is no problem.

thats sick but only problem is they are allowed to go 45 so 70+ can be a problem with cops... if i do that i think i dont cut the cabble but remove it or something so i can put it back if i want

Bart Schroder Yes, this mod makes it illegal to drive on public roads. The consequences can be costly and it's more dangerous. You could put an on/off switch on the cable. Still Illegal but, well, you could.

Bart Schroder good questions! There is no retailer in Sweden so I had to import it myself and have therefore no one to ask for help. It was hard start at the beginning and stopped when it got hot. But after adjusting the valves it has been excellent. No rust yet (6 months) but I keep it in the garage and wipe exposed parts after drivning in the wet. Here the roads are salted hard and it is a poison for Chinese machines. No, it’s not the fastest mop here. You will not collect any Trafficlights trophes. But it is the best looking bike in the country. If 0-45 km/h is important you should get a 2-stroke engine mop. Or a lighter 4-stroke.

Super Sel clement I don’t know for sure but probably not. The Dirt Track (greate looking bike) has a newer engine, I guess Euro 4 or even Euro 5.

You can unplug the wire that have "SAS" tag on them. I have mine for a year and I always piss about the lack of option to turn that engine more runeable.

It seems quite alright. We have only driven 500km so it's hard to say. It's heavy, 90 kg, and feels more like a slack motorcycle than a mop. so far it has worked perfectly.

Jonas I have adjusted the valves and have had to tension the chain a couple of times. It is important to check regularly that the screws and nuts are properly screwed. One of the nuts holding the exhaust pipe in the cylinder had become loose.

Hmm... ”archive” meaning ”old”? I don’t see why they would put a restriction on a motorcycle. But if you have a similar box, you can try. If it does not work, it is easy to restore. I know that someone cut the wrong green cord and then the starter motor did not work. Easy fix.

No and no. In most European countries it is illegal. The engine is designed to go faster but restricted to comply with regulations. The instruction manual states that you should not drive faster than 50 kmh the first 500 km.

Tudor Ile A new engine needs to be handled carefully so that all parts have a chance to wear to fit each other. if you drive too hard, gears, gaskets and bearings might break. After 500 km, the oil should be changed to clean out metal dust.

Joel_ 5103 Good for you. I have driven 2000 km this summer and have only had minor issues. Squeeky sound from front break, the chain has had to be tighten 3 times. I have checked and tighten bolts and screws regulary and have only lost one - on the exhaust pipe connection to the cylinder. I have notised some light rust on the stand.

123JonasKZbin it was necessary for the first 500 km but now everything seems to be tightened properly. the connection between the cylinder and the exhaust pipe was a critical point. now I mostly check the chain regularly and tighten it if needed.

Do know that if u do that u will roast ur cdi, meaning if u wanna make it stock u need to solder the cable AND buy a new cdi. And the cdi for the mash isnt as cheap as most cdis….

Kristjan Prodan Absolutely, that is always an option. And for those with the Euro 4 engine I think that's the only possibility. Do not cut any cables without being sure which engine you have.

They do sell it in italy tho whic is very close so ill take a look there. But do you maybe know if is it possible to order it from france and they send it to you ?

Kristjan Prodan I suppose it would be possible - if you find a reliable salesman in France... I live in Sweden and went to Latvia to buy my Fifty. It gave me some paperwork because it had never been registered in the EU. Check out the rules that apply to imports from another EU country. If it has been registered in Italy, it is much easier. But make sure you get the CoC document and a valid receipt!
