@@MasterRoshi69 tbh fair it is a Zelda game . Just far from the usual dungeons and quest theme. They've had a few tries at different styles of okay. With well mixed results. Tldr: its a Zelda. Just not what must call traditional zelda.

@@wugglesx It's basically Skyrim with Zelda assets. Nothing that Zelda is known for was in this game. There was no deep dungeons, no epic orchestrated music, no story progression (because the story was optional...), no character development, no item/gear collecting(collecting easily broken weapons was annoying), and barely any bosses. You had the same mediocre boss x4 for the divine beasts, one cool Ganon fight, then an unmoving giant pig who just stands there waiting for you to shoot him. This game was a beautiful but shallow sandbox, trying to jump on the Skyrim bandwagon. Wind Waker is the perfect example of an open world Zelda game. BoTW is a Zelda game in almost no way except name.

You gotta be talking about the second one. Because killing you, your entire freinds and family again and again while you remember it all is hell. Then you find a way to end the cycle by running away. You know that it won't be reset until you die. Then you start out with a new family and freinds just to die all over again to a nightmarish hell in which you can't return to your previous peaceful life. The only way to make this worse is that link killed all of his new family in the poor basterd's finale moments which will be even worse.

As someone who’s on his first play through of botw, I’ve been avoiding monsters as much as possible and am shocked how often a blood moon appears.

My theory is while Link and adventurers do the dirty work of collecting the guts, Beedle exchanges the guts with Kilton to give people the option of buying Kilton products from Beedle with rupees. Hylians most likely choose this option to avoid the dirty work. Knowing how one of the side quests in Tarry town asks for you to bring them a monster cake, people must have had access to a monster elixir. If people try to avoid and run away from the dirty work as we see in the game, then they are most likely paying Beedle for the ingrediants. From what I know, Beedle is at every rest stop in BOTW, so he is the person adventurers would most likely exchange their supplies for ingrediants.
