Interesting Rasing Cane's fact. The founder Todd Graves, & his wife where participants on Secret Millionaire in 2008. Todd & his wife posed as normal hourly employees, in order to see how things where running, & to reward outstanding employees. It was essentially a precursor to Undercover Boss.

California resident here. I remember visiting New Orleans and seeing a Cane's. I didn't think much of it. Recently, my city built 4 of these and I thought, "who the hell likes Chicken Fingers?" I dont even like Chick Fil A. Then, somebody really recommended their lemonade. I love lemonade, so i went ahead and ordered one. I experienced great customer service, so i thought to myself- "might as well try their chicken." When i bit into it- holy crap. Their chicken is 100% breast (I love breasts) and super Juicy on the inside. Outside its amazingly crunchy. I WAS HOOKED! It's not greasy nor salty. I can tell that they change the oil a lot. I now try to go as often as possible.

I absolutely LOVE.. 1 LOVE .. raising canes.. they have the best chicken fingers around.. im so pissed there is only one location in my town of Athens GA.. there should be no less than 10 locations peppered around my city.. such quality food and service.. unrelated note.. i also miss a little outfit called chicken express.. oh my god yall .. their chicken was bomb and they had white gravy for dipping and corn nuggets and bisquits.. also they had a copycat location called golden chick that also closed.. they were both ridiculously good chicken joints that inexplicably closed.. no idea why.. they were always busy and were bringing in plenty of customers and money.. its a damn shame.. also another hometown favorite known as the varsiry closed up shop as well.. bomb ass hotdogs, chili fries, peach pies, burgers and the infamous frosted orange.. was an athens staple for like 80 years.. closed its doors.. i have missed it every day since.. nobody made as tasty a hotdog as the varsity.. period.

This Mashed youtube feature of The Little Known Truth Behind Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers has some impressive details on the history of both how the Raising Cane's came to being and some of the multiple reasons why the Raising Cane's has become popular among many foodgoers. I have to credit my husband for indirectly influencing my discovery of Raising Canes and I admit that I personally prefer the honey mustard sauce that is offered for the chicken fingers (though I can easily understand why the Raising Cane's sauce is also popular among many customers).

Cooked in horrible canola oil....can't a fast food restaurant do the right thing for once and use a less unhealthy oil like olive or avocado oil?

The sad fact is Cane sauce is nothing new. Fast food chain like Zaxby’s and Guthrie’s (a local classic for me) have been done this well before 1996. However not to the success Cane has. Opening in the Middle East was a great idea. The local chain of Guthrie’s would never consider doing that.

@@igiveup12 It shows up a few times in the video, at points where it implies the first store. Someone had to have made a decision with a video camera and some video editing software.

Their special sauce is okay it's nothing to write home about.. a lot of these companies get a certain sauce then they change it cuz they want to get it cheaper distributor and it doesn't taste the same..(wendy 's. Is good 4 this one )

They are soggy if you don’t eat them soon as the container they go in steams them. Normally though, if you eat them once you get your order they are I credible.

I personally think it's overhyped. Yeah, it's a good product considering that it's all they offer, but at least give it more character that a chicken nugget from a fast food chain
