Such a beautiful peace of music. And the sound of your instrument is fantastic as well.

The first time I listened to your music it was my second year in the middle school. One weekend when I was back home from the boarding school, a neighbor was playing your CD, and I was stunned. It was Flying Squirrel Creek. I borrowed the CD from him and played again and again. So many years have passed and now I am a PhD student writing my dissertation. Every time I felt frustrated and realized that I had not listen to any music for quite a while, your name will come to my mind. Pieces of your music convey more than just the melody: they brought the memory of the past, and they just like long lost old friends of mine. I am amazed to see that you replied the comments here, and can't wait to write to let you know how much peacefulness and joy your music mean to me. Thank you very much.

+Xiaofang Cai I am grateful for your message, and to know the music I've created has brought happiness and peace to you. It's an honour to be the author of music that stays with people through life. Thank you for sharing this. I hope my current and future works bring peace to you, as well.

Dear Xiao-fang, it seems I have not seen this comment, and so never replied. Please forgive me for that. Thanks so much for your message. I am deeply touched to know how you discovered and then carried my music with you through your life's journey. I wish you the best and hope my music continues to accompany you.

I've been a fan of the piano all my life and got close to beginning to learn but never followed through. Listening to your music really motivates me to get back into it. You play the kind of music I enjoy best, in fact, this kind of music I have had a terribly hard timing finding. Thank you! And binaural is always a great touch.

Really happy to hear of your inspiration. That's perhaps the greatest compliment. I hope you'll find more rewarding music soon as I proceed with a steady roll-out of these types of binaural piano recordings. Watch my website in the coming months for info, and this KZbin channel.

Hi Matthew, can you tell me what prevs do you use, if any? Or what audio interface? Thanks.
@MatthewLienMusic5 жыл бұрын
I believe for this video, I simply used a Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 that was set up in my living room then. But I typically use RME interfaces when on remote projects, good clean and accurate pres and conversion.
