I was suspecting it was Wayne about halfway through. I was also recognizing certain notes from his time on Whose Line and LMAD. We always see him so energized on his shows, and it was amazing to see his down-to-earth side and how humbled he was when he won. The Fox was DEFINITELY deserving of his win!

@@samuraijack3187 it's called the masked singer because the concept of the show is singing behind the mask. This is not the Voice. If it was only about the voice, they wouldn't have professional singers mixed with athletes and actors. It's about overall performance, voice and all. Like I said, Wayne took it a step further and he had a great voice to match it which is why he won. I still prefer Daughtry as a singer but competition wise, Wayne took it. Even the judges said so

Seal, Gladys Knight, Victor Oladipo, and Patti sang uninteresting songs (though they didn't sing badly) and were voted out. There is no way Adrienne sings better than Patti or Victor, IMHO.

It's been 2 seasons in a row where judges have guessed Jamie Foxx as one of the contestants. I think it's only right that he finally just signs on to do it. Thank you for commenting on the dancers. I watched every episode at least twice each and not ONCE did they comment on the dancers. Not one performer thanking the dancers publicly. The judges or Nick never mentioned them. Even on the credits, the dancers names were nearly last and flew by so quickly that you can't read them. Wayne was fantastic the entire show. I recognized his voice about two bars into the first song. I've watched him for years and love everything he's done. And, he's danced with the Jaberwockys on more than one occasion.

When I was watching all season, I was back and forth with Wayne and Jamie. Wayne and Jamie sound alike. One week I can hear Jamie and one week I can hear Wayne. I loved Wayne on Who's Line. I always couldn't wait to hear him sing. He and Charles Esten (who use to be on Nashville) always sing on the show. They both had great voices.
