With each performance, the host, panelists, audience, viewers and even the other contestants are left guessing who the singer is behind the mask. The singers may attempt to throw off the crowd, but keen observers might pick up on tiny clues buried throughout the show. I honestly think what swayed a lot of votes to the monster is the fact many thought his costume was adorable and then he had the sad story about is life and everything else. I remember watching the Donny and Marie Show when I was little. I used to actually cry every time they ended their show because I hated to see it end. And on the final show I was a wreck. I miss those times when shows were wholesome, funny, goofy without having to use profanity to get a laugh. They brought you into their world for a short period of time and gave you something uplifting or light-hearted to watch. My sister and I used to fight over the Tigerbeat posters, and one that would regularly be stolen to end up in a hidden spot in our rooms was of Donny. I think there were two from that magazine. Anyway, eventually my sister bought an actual poster and let me have the beat up Tigerbeat one. It stayed on my wall until we moved.
