MASON FLAT TOUR: UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM (+ Vegan Pizza Swirls)

Hey everyone,
As I am not free from exams and have officially finished my first year of Uni, here is a Mason flat tour! I very highly recommend Mason if you're thinking of attending the University of Birmingham.
Now the real question is, what would you like to see in my videos over the summer? Now that I'm not at Uni, I would love to hear our requests!

Ah great!😃 & they’re allowed as long as they’re not ones you have to plug into a socket. So mine are battery powered ones from primark👍🏼

From what I remember, the wifi was pretty good and I could use more than one device at a time. Best of luck at UoB!

How do you put things on your wall? Xx what are the rules about that? X

You’re not meant to use blue tack I believe but I used white tack so that it didn’t leave a blue mark. If it does take some of the paint off, you can put a little bit of paint (& filler if needed) over it & they won’t notice. I have a friend who used string to hang her photos from to minimise the amount of white tack she was using. Hope this helps x

Did the room come with pillows? Also do the room windows open so you can have fresh air? And is there a radiator for the cold?

Hi Eshani, the room did not come with pillows unfortunately. But the room windows do open and there was a radiator which worked like a treat! I would turn it off when i went out and then would turn it up when i got back and before you know, my room is nice and cosy and warm again :) Hope this helped! x

Hi! There is a shop on the vale but it’s a little pricey & is only small but Morrison’s is about a 20 minute walk away, or you can (which is what we did) do online orders from Tesco (or any other shop of your choice). The walk from the vale to uni is gorgeous. Along the path it takes between 15 - 20 depending on your pace, or there’s the walk along the canal which is a similar time. The walk from the vale is really lovely & I found it really nice to listen to podcasts to start my day👍🏼

@@zeesworld126 Ah sorry. It's been so long since I was in a Mason flat. I recommend Dunelm for bedsheets. I saw some 3/4 sizes the other day. Best of luck :)

I used white-tac (a safer option to blue-tac), which thankfully didn't stain the walls. I know that people who did stain their walls used paint to go over it :) x
