This is one of the worst calls in any sport ever. The fact it was called a no-goal on the ice is bad enough, but to review it and STILL make the same call?! Get a grip. The NHL has hit the ceiling for its Canadian ratings. Canadians will watch hockey no matter what. The USA still has a massive market to grow in. 330+ million people in the USA vs. 41 million people in Canada. The only way the NHL makes more money from Canada is if they add another NHL team. The inflated ticket and concession prices would make the NHL a lot of money, but it would not increase ratings. They are trying to get Americans more invested in Hockey. Canada is already invested.

0:41 Duchene is clearly outside of the crease and Georgiev has his Glove and half his body outside of it. 0:43 Makar makes contact with Duchene and pushes him into Georgiev. 0:45 puck goes in. Ask Roger Bettman and his new cheating approach for league finanical gain. Clearly, something is going on in these sports leagues where they feel comfortable cheating during live games, altering rules to fit the outcome they want. MLB doesn't do this, as they wouldn't dare, already being called in front of Congress in 2005 for roids. That's why you don't see MLB play these games to influence games. MLB looks the the replay, everyone sees what is right, they call it correctly and quickly and move on. It's almost as if the NFL and now the NHL are in the midst of negotiations during these long reviews to see how the layers in the room want to "sell" the result to the audience. Why else would these take so long? Roger Goodell invented this to keep his job. The only thing I can think of here with the refs being coached to help certain teams like Florida and here with Colorado, is the idea Arizona is moving to Utah, so they're trying to prop up league revenue to get Arizona/Utah healthy in a small market. If people see smaller market teams succeed, it's healthier for the league's bottom line. There is no other explanation how the entire world can see a replay and the league still wants to help one team over another. That's the whole point of replay. They've gone from bypassing replay to lie to cheat and adjust how the rule is written during the broadcasts. Creepy.

Duchane was in-front of the goalie and backs up till he’s right in his face but still outside the blue paint. He then gets pushed by Makar into Georgie. No interference initiated by Duchene. Thats a clean screen and a GOOD goal.
