I so appreciate you honoring my request and all the hard work you put into this project. It’s a Victorian spin on drums I didn’t expect but so beautiful! It went way beyond what I imagined. Without the information on products and the how to’s to achieve this beautiful work of art, it would be difficult to duplicate. Who wouldn’t want to hang this on their tree? I loved the colors, trims, and my favorite Christmas music. And yes, I’d like to see info on clay that would help me to not hate it. You’re a gifted artist with impeccable taste and I thank you so very much for all your efforts to honor my request. Love,

@@masoncreationsetc You’re very welcome! I know you asked if anyone had any suggestions for your next project and I might have one. How would you make a Christmas tree ornament for a family member? I always made ones for my kids with the year and what age they were and I would love to try something new for my grandson. If you can that would be great and if not I understand. Can’t wait to see what’s next my new friend! 💚🖤💚
@masoncreationsetcАй бұрын
I normally just add their name and decoupage a picture of something they would like. How old is your grandson? I'll make something age appropriate. Young? Maybe a teddy bear?
@jamiejones426Ай бұрын
@@masoncreationsetc Adding a photo is a great idea and he’s 6. A teddy bear would be adorable.

So adorable. Every time I think you are almost done, you surprise me with more beautification. Yes, I would love to see you do a tutorial on the air dry clay. Also, have you ever used the clay to mend something? I have an antique photo frame that has a slight raised trim that chipped off in 2 small areas & I'm wondering if I could use the clay to replace the broken off pieces. The frame is wood but the trim itself looks oddly like plaster.
@masoncreationsetc2 ай бұрын
Hi Barbbette! So glad I could give you a few surprises..lol... I will definitely be doing a tutorial on air dry clay. I'm getting some feedback on that, and it's a go for a future video. Yes you can use clay to make repairs. You would need to glue the clay while it's still wet and then mold it. You can use a brush and water to smooth it out. Or, you could make something like maybe a rose out of clay and a silicone mold and then glue that over the chipped area. Thanks for always watching my friend 😊💖🤗❄🎅🎄
@barbbette61592 ай бұрын
@@masoncreationsetc Thank you for the instructions. The framed picture is a family heirloom that got damaged by one of our Calif earthquakes & I was afraid I'd ruin it if I tried to repair it with something like Fix-All but after watching how you work the clay, it made me wonder if it would work. I will let you know how it turns out. 💖💝💕❣

Hi Donna, I am 87 and trying to get back into crafting. It is easy to make pretty things for gals, but not so for guys. Your beautiful drum caught my eye. Do you have any ideas for the drum for the guys? I have a couple guys I would like to gift at Christmas and I thought a drum would be great. I am a copier, not a creator. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated. My hands are not as useful as they once were but will try try try. 😍

Hi Darlene, Well after pondering for a minute. Here's what I came up with. Check out the rice papers at decoupage napkins. The have a spectacular selection and some masculine ones too. If these guy are into fishing or golf. Maybe find a rice paper that would be outdoors, They may even have something with fishing or golf. Then instead of the bows and roses that I did on this one. Coordinate with the rice paper and do little golf balls or tiny fish holding up the strings. You can get all types of little molds on Amazon. I'm sure you'd be able to find both. I actually have one with little fish and I'd bet you could find some little golf balls. If they're into hunting you could do it with a bear or deer theme. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions at all. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to send me a message 😊💖 Napkins and Rice Paper: decoupagenapkins.com?sca_ref=3969749.C8aAXEduCt
