How do you make a test color batch? Split a 60lb premix mortar with 1/2 cup dye? Or do you weigh the mortar on scale?

2-2-2.25 shovels lime 1-1.5 shovels Portland 6-7 shovels sand That’s what I call a single batch Dry pigment color For example dirty off white I use 1/8 cup dark chocolate to cut the brightness of the white Portland as grey Portland never shakes off grey 1 cup light buff to either more light buff or 1/2 cup dark buff if it’s turning beige

😂 I completely believe you on this video… I consider myself handy. But after this video.. nope 2500 SF home all made on this exact Rock. Couple dozen spots need to be touched up.. I think it’s over my head
