How to Upgrade an Old MacBook to latest version supported (FIXED 2025) | Old Mac OSX To Latest macOS

Today, I'll show you how to upgrade a Mac from an older macOS version to the latest possible version.
For demo purposes, I will upgrade from Mac OSX Lion to macOS Monterey. However, if you wanna upgrade from macOS X Mountain Lion, Mac OS X Yosemite, Mac OS X Maverick or Mac OS X El Capitan, you can follow the same steps.

No, I haven’t used the OpenCore Legacy Patcher, but I’ve shared the procedure through which you can officially upgrade your Mac without relying on any third-party apps. Every Mac has a different official upgrade limit-some can be upgraded to macOS High Sierra, others to macOS Sequoia, Sonoma, Ventura, or Monterey, and so on. First, understand the maximum official upgrade your Mac supports. This video explains that process in detail. I hope my explanation is clear now. If you don't have a Mac, use the same method on a Windows computer kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXTJqZSjpJKjq6c. After that [lease follow these steps 1. Boot your Mac into the Recovery Drive. 2. Use Disk Utility to run "Repair Drive" and "Repair Permissions". 3. Check if the bootcamp partition has been returned to the main drive in Disk Utility. To do this, select the drive (not Macintosh HD), then click on the Partition tab to view. You may need to drag the top partition down to reclaim that space.
