He used to drop us in our parents house when my friends and I were in form three and we were acting village girls in drama at NTA, Ibadan with him and his drama group then. Oh ! How time flies. I have bing watched all episodes of masoyinbo and I thoroughly enjoyed each episode. This show right here is the most brilliant idea of this generation and it came at a prefect time too. The show is an eye opener. It made me realize our language is at stake if we don't change the way we educate and communicate with our children. So funny, I've never laughed like this while watching Masoyinbo. Sola Fosudo, one of the best actors. Always interpreted his roles very well both in English and Yoruba movies but more eloquent in English. His corporate dressing on set was elegant.

I love Masoyinbo a lot and I'm thankful for your impact in my life. Since I started watching this program, I've learnt my numbers in Yoruba from 100 to 1000. I also now try to speak Yoruba without mixing English language with it. I hope to be on your show soon, as soon as I feel I can take on the questions and speak for 30 minutes at least without mixing English. Meanwhile, I want to share from my knowledge of Yoruba numbering, that there isn't a thing like "okoolenieedegberinlemokanla" rather it should be "Ojilenieedegberindinmesan" for 31. Please check from time stamp 28:30 for my opinion. Thank you for all you do for the Yoruba culture and language.

And many may have Western education but are illiterate (unable to read and write) in Yorùbá, sometimes even when they speak it, especially when proper reading and writing with àmì is involved, which is one of the tragedies this show helps to correct. We still have a lot of work on our hands...ìṣẹ́ sì pọ̀ lọ́wọ́ ọ wa.

Wao. I am so glad to know this. He was such a jolly man and was always ready to offer a helping hand. I was a student of his in the Chemical Engineering dept at Lagos State Polytechnic in the early 90's. Dr. Fosudo used to visit him at Ikosi Campus but I never had to opportunity to see the man I often saw on telly in those years. From what I heard at that time, Engr Odunaiya was always with his friend so much so that people mistook him for Theatre Art (or so) student when they were at the Univ. of Ife (now OAU) - if I am not mistaken. Thanks for the information. I like them both.

Yes, I was at late Engr Cosmos wedding in 1985 I believe I was their little bride then. He is, his very very good friend. I thought he was my uncle but was told later on he was my uncle's( Dr. Sola Fosudo) best friend. He was knowledgeable and passionate about engineering.
