1. I did Tali's mission last. You can do this without losing any crew members in the final mission, as long as you don't do more than two. 2. Yes, it's the Dragon Age armor. I think you just need Dragon Age as part of your game collection on the Bioware site.

to romance tali you need to do to loyalty first and after doing some missions you get more than 2 conversations to do that or it happens when you do it because if i get legion for talis mission and i only have 2 missions left before i do tali's one will i lose the the conversation to do that with tali;?

To get Tali romance AND those dialogs with Legion (and not fucking enough to get your crew turn into gray goo) you need to do Tali mission after geting him for the crew (and that Reaper Deus Ex Machina devise) and than the Legion one. There should be just enough conversations to finish the romance right way, since you get one after every mission, so it is one after loyality missions of Tali's and Legion's and one after Collectors attack on Normandy.

It's still not a good idea to bring Legion there. As far as you know at that time, you can not be 100% sure it's not a spy for the Geth collective. So it's all risk, but no advantage, and you're irreparably endangering the Quarians. The Quarians should totally refuse entry to Shepard's team, and tell the Normandy to leave the system or be fired upon, and the Quarians are well justified to do that.

BlAcKlUnGeD You can also bring Legion to the security checkpoint at the beginning. The security guard will say that they're concerned about Geth infiltrating the Citadel and Legion will say that the Geth do not infiltrate.

Actually, the Citadel one also works well because everyone on there is: A) Completely ignorant on what is a Geth, so they probably see Legion as some sort of advanced AI. We can tell this because one of the side missions on the Citadel is helping out two Asaris who have been placed on a "no fly" list because customs believe them to be Geth Infiltrators (i'm not kidding, look it up if you don't believe me) B) Aware of who Commander Shepard is, and, since they see that the Geth is following the Commander's orders, they see that there's nothing to worry about

Drunkrobot This is how I play Mass Effect 2, I wait until I get Legion before I do Tali’s Loyalty mission, then immediately do Legion’s. So every game Tali tells me to go to the Fleet mid-game, but I do it when I have everyone done late end-game. Quarian and Geth relations, repairing itself one pair at a time!

I always brought them on the other's mission. She's an expert on Geth, so having her on the Geth Station makes sense. And bringing Legion to the flotilla is always great for the dialogue. Lore-wise, you could argue that makes sense to bring the first peaceful Geth to the Quarians, to at the very least speak for non-heretical Geth. And it helps things along in 3.

Show the basis for the trial out to be a farce by doing the very thing Tali was being tried for and demonstrate why it isn't really a crime. Too bad the dialogue for the trial itself doesn't allow for this if you bring Legion aboard; you still can only either admit guilt, sell her father out, rally the crowd, or pass a reputation check. Technically you could consider rallying the crowd or the reputation check to be vague enough to accommodate it.

Tali'Zorah vas Normandy The amazing thing is that the team that created the game took this possibility in mind and wrote a great deal of dialog and specific events about it. It is really the best game of the trilogy, IMO. They could have just prevented taking Legion with you in that mission and nobody would ever think to second-guess their decision. But, no, they had to do something unique with that! Admirable!

I would've loved to see it possible for Legion to somehow negotiate with the Geth on the Alarei and reach consensus with them that there's a better option than fighting. Given Shepard's combat record, they would've seen that violence was not a viable option, and perhaps have joined the Normandy with Legion.

Commander Shepard actually Legion tells us some part that the "indoctrinated" aka old machine driven geth are right in some ways, and it is just some mathematical problem that separates them. You can not convince a machine that bases all of its decisions on logic and numbers to change its "opinions" because they will stop to exist and such

The heretics have their space station and operate in the galaxy at large, but the Quarians are more interested in those that stayed near Rannoch. Those Geth are Legion's kind: non-heretical. It would make sense that these are non-heretical Geth. Had Legion expanded the information they had access to, they would have found a more optimal course of action.

Personally, I think that the Charm option at the "welcoming committee" could be a bit more contextual. Since Paragon Shepard usually takes the diplomatic route, I'd like it if the Charm response was something more like "Legion will act as an ambassador to the geth beyond the Veil. Legion do not step on with hostile intentions and want to discuss the possibility of peace once Tali's accusation has been cleared."

You should try here if Tali is dead at the end of ME2 and you have her help in ME3, she tells you over the radio she has Geth dancing and serving drinks for her.

LittleDemonInside She IS crazy as hell. One of the many things cut from ME3 was a mission where Xen loses her last marbles, goes rogue on the Citadel, and Shepard has to put her down. Here's a sniplet of dialogue from the cut quest found by rooting around in the game's tlk files. Xen: We had victory in our grasp until you betrayed us! Tali: Shepard stopped the war! Xen: Are you sleeping with him, Tali? Did someone get her induction filter popped on Pilgrimage? Or are you just stupid? Xen: Because I can see the rest of our spineless leaders accepting peace, but not Rael'Zorah's daughter. Xen: Have the geth loaded themselves into your suit yet, Tali? How long until they're talking for you? Until they run you? Xen: I did not work for years to become a slave to the synthetics! Shepard: I figured it was only a matter of time until you cracked. What we can piece together from the leftover bits is that she was running some sort of unethical experiments on the Citadel and the geth, and it was endangering both the geth and the millions of people on the Citadel. She claimed her work could help defeat the Reapers, but it looks more like she was just interested in using Reaper tech to get the geth under her control.

LittleDemonInside It gets worse-- in that same conversation (though its not displayed here), you can hear the following exchange between Admiral Xen and Tali: Xen (talking about the experiments Tali's father was performing on the geth, in response to Shepard asking if she supports experiments on living creatures): Rael should have felt no more guilt experimenting on the geth than I did performing surgery on a childhood toy! Tali:...the fact that you performed surgery on your childhood toys explains a *great deal*, Admiral. Me: Yeah-- that she's completely amoral *at best*, and *completely ca-ca* at worst.

This is not only stupid but very ironic. Tali is being tried for bringing active geth aboard the Fleet, so bringing Legion=Admitting Guilt. Shepard is lucky no one notices. Also, the obligitory "Why did you bring a Geth onboard a ship that hates geth?"

Well, in shepherds defence, the trial isn't even about Tali. It is hilarious though you can paragon/renegade through the charges with an active geth in the audience. I wish I didn't think about doing this before I did Tali's mission; it would've been fucking hillarious. Qwib Qwibs dialogue is really interesting though since I was playing paragone Shep.

For one thing, Shepard doesn't *know* what the charges actually are until they're already on the ship. For another, because of Quarian politics, bringing a Geth turned out to be mostly neutral.

This really is the best written part of the game. It fleshes out the Quarians, has unique dialogue for Legion's presence, and actually let's Shepard try to gain allies for the Reaper invasion. Has some of the best voice work, too. I could listen to Claudia Black all damn day. Even better with her suit radio filter.

TBH it would have been completely logical with in-universe to have this mission unavailable for Legion as a squadmate but they did it anyway and it is fantastic. Also: another interesting thing. I wonder if the Quarian Geth hostilities would also cease after the Morning War if the Geth were to evacuate to another planet/station and return Rannok to the Quarians. If most of the Quarians are only interested in reclaiming the homeworld then there would be no need to eliminate the Geth either. As it is the game only allows the possibilities of coexistence on Rannok or elimination of the other. This 3rd option of simply having the Geth resettle another planet is not available. Naturally the Geth would have no emotional attachment to Rannok and would be fine with resettlement (given time and resources).
