Soooo, I've never played Mass Effect (I'm not a gamer). But youtube suggested the Cortez/Shepard romance for some reason, then I found about Kaidan/MShepard and ended up here. Thanks for posting this, Mass Effect is a wonderful adventure and you can't help but care deeply for each character, so a million time thanks.

A movie about this triology in 7 episodes would make a whole bunch of money if well developed. ME1 could be very well developed as a saga of 2 movies (from the Eden Prime to Noveria, ignoring Feros, and another movie from Virmire to Ilos-Citadel) if you include a few things for the Cerberus plot. If you develop Saren and Benezia as the two initial bad guys it would be great. A lot of things would have to change, and I would not mind if the story is "corrected" for the movie You could still have all 6 crew members developed in the two movies. ME2 could also be a 2 part -saga. No loyalty missions.The 1st part could involve the death and rebirth of Shepard, the introduction of Cerberus with Miranda and Jakub. Then, they could pick up, Garrus. After that, they could show short clips of them picking up Mordin, Jack and Grunt (they could even leave him in the chamber for this movie, and introduce him in the next movie). Tali is met in Freedom's Progress and she decides to comeback to the team (instead of recruited) after Horizon colony, where she also brings info on the Collector vessel. This movie will end with them arriving at the Collector Vessel and discovering that the proteans are the Collectors, and them escaping. The 2nd movie could just start with Illusive Man saying your team is not ready, Shepard trying to recruit Liara, failing, and then gets Thane and Samara (in short clips). Then try to get the Reaper IFF and Legion. This would take like 1hr, develop characters and issues for like 30 mins, and then you have 45 mins to do the Suicide Mission. This movie would be hard to do but certainly doable. ME3 has to be 3 movies.

Well, if the shepherd makes every choice correctly, I think the destruction ending makes the most sense. Quarians might have learned to co-exist with synthetic(next gen). All organic life may have learned how to live in peace. And most, importantly, everything ends someday. No matter what choice you make, they will all doom someday (given 3000 years or 10000000 years).

I'm replaying Mass Effect 2 right now .. been quite a while .. 3 years since I last played it... Still impressed by how good this game is :D... Im thinking of uploading a renegade movie + femshep ... @@MedyGames Definitely Thane. Jack's a tortured soul with a good romance as well that carries over to ME3 hilariously. She does fit the renegade route really well. Samara is a REALLY slow burn but I liked it all the same. When it comes to males Thane is the only one I connected with and he's extremely sweet to femshep. He broke me with what happened to him in ME3.

As great as the games are, gotta admit Bioware really needs to work on making facial expressions and new animations. Not sure if it's a budget thing, or something they're known for, but the multiple times different characters use the same animation is really distracting.

Play Mass Effect Andromeda... The facial animations were completely revamped and a new engine used specifically for more lifelike animations. Oh by the way... they failed at every step and Andromeda now serves as the example for exactly what NOT to do when trying to make realistic, lifelike facial expressions in a Mass Effect game... LOL

Too bad that at the end of the story when the galaxy needed him the most the writers decided to tie our superhero's hands behind his back and render him useless and powerless in the face of some star kid from nowhere. Too bad that the ending of the greatest Sci-Fi game ever is such a disappointment. There's a great mod that changes the ending which makes it much better and more rewarding for your efforts. Still a great game though. Great job on the video.

It is so sad that one of the best storytelling was so bashed by stupid people to the point all the mastery of this lore was dumped in the media. No doubt this demented criticism played a role in the downfall of the next Mass Effect titles still years to come. If really still there is to be another now. However I think all of them were well written, the destroy ending is for me the worse.

Although the direction of Kaidan's character in Mass Effect was not good because his dialogues resembled those of Ashley a bit too much, I liked Kaidan's character in ME3 better than Ashley's - he was not so impulsive and somewhat annoying as Ashley. I mean, no getting wasted in the Normandy bar, better judgement during the Citadel coup, etc.

I'm playing ME3 again for the third time right now. I started in the series with ME2. Then played ME3 once and chose the destroy option. I played ME3 a second time and chose the "become" option. When I saw that there were decisions that had importance from way back in ME1, I decided to replay the entire series so I can get the 100% paragon ending as sell as seeing the result of the "assimilate" option. Though I have to say that the "become" option was pretty good. By the way, I chose to keep Kaidan alive. (I didn't like Ashley's attitude.)

@@malzbier8082 Why, you ask? Because they did not follow their own established lore in ME and ME2. When you end a trilogy you need to do it right - you need to bring things full circle. I think that taking the story back to Ilos could have had a great impact - after all, the Protheans were much more advanced than we were, and it is an iconic place. Javik could have fit very nicely into this mission and been essential to unlocking the Prothean secrets there. For instance, in Mass Effect we had a conversation with Vigil. If you recall, Vigil "did not sense the taint of Indoctrination upon us." Vigil could detect Indoctrination! Surely this would have been downloaded into the data file Vigil gave us. This brings me to my next point - Vigil's data file could override the Starbrat AND Sovereign?! Pretty amazing code - either that or the writers of ME3 never played the original game.... (you decide) Our conversation with the Starbrat was nothing at all like our conversation in Mass Effect with Sovereign. Sovereign was malicious and powerful - a force of ancient evil made manifest in the form a a Reaper. Starbrat was an accident made by the Leviathan in order to save the lesser organics from creating AI, which would then in turn kill them. In an act of gracious melodrama the Leviathan basically killed themselves off, dooming the galaxy to cyclic extinctions - I find that both appalling and laughable at the same time. Lastly, let us discuss the elephant in the room - and that is the trap created by the Mass Effect Relays. Why were the Mass Effect Relays not locked down? Why was the trap not set - and why did we even bother to get the IFF in ME2? Once the Reapers got to a Mass Relay they could have been at the Citadel in hours - Alpha Relay or not. That many Reapers would overwhelm even all of the galaxy's combined fleets. Besides that, the Reapers took the Citadel later in the game anyhow. I'm not even going to go into the endings or the slideshows - other than to say that it is a terrible ending(s) that could have been so much more, had there been creative talent on hand. I wanted to feel like I'd won against the Reapers, not kicked in the balls.
