Mass Effect 3 - An End, Once And For All (Extended Cut) - Piano - Synthesia

I recently played through the Mass Effect series. The games were made by geniuses, well, apart from the ending. The best thing about the ending is this piece. It really sets the mood and almost compensates for the last 20 minutes of the series. I think it is one of the best pieces out there.
I've added the strings to give it some depth. They are not in the MIDI file.
The original is done by Clint Mansell, one of my favorite composers for movies, and Sam Hulick. The arrangement was done by Daniel Ward. You can find the sheets on his website.

i like the reaper sound effect it would make in the song. made it feel so ominous and that the end was near, but then it would change into something nice and comforting, giving you hope.

I just wish we got an extra 20 minutes or so of them finding Shepard alive but everything in havoc or peace from your ending. Then when they find Shepard the person you romanced rushes to their side and Shepard gets immediate care then lives.. Like that would've made me happy but lord have I spent 3 years mourning over the ending I got (I chose synthesis, everyone lived but seeing Kaidan so broken (I romanced him through the entire trilogy and stayed loyal to him) man that ending just made me cry so hard)

Dude i feel ya i romanced tali as maleshep and liara as femshep and the endings made me tear up(i never cry so much in tali ending).ME:A was a good game but like me and my other 15+ friends said the game diddnt feel right without sheppard and the old crew.i hope they bring them back it would be a lot of explaining but i will wait 5-10 years if we have too(fuck now i have to go and replay the series and do a femshep Garrus romance)

It's so sad... but full of hope. My Shepard chose Syntesis. He died, but he changed everything. He changed the Galaxy. He made peace, peace that will last. It's sad... but full of hope. He sacrificed himself to save everyone. Even the Reapers(whoch btw totally should've died). This music is beautiful. I'm gonna learn now how to play it on my sister's piano. I'll do it if it's the last thing I do.

I'm confused. Whenever I watch a KZbin piano video using synthesia, I can NEVER figure out where the uploader gets the particular midi file. I have searched on midi databases all over the internet and I can't find "An End Once and For All (extended cut)" so that I can practice playing on my keyboard. This is an amazing piece of music, but i think it's too mainstream for your channel. I subscribed to you, because of "The binding of isaac" soundtrack. I think you are the only one that makes synthesia tutorials for it, and that what makes your channel unique. I don't say that you have to do only "The Binding of Isaac", but i suggest you should pick something less known (FTL soundtrack maybe). Just my opinion, do what you want of course it's your channel. I wish you happy new year, more subscribers and keep up the good work :)

Thanks. I thought the same before uploading the video. But I mostly upload stuff from games I enjoyed very much (especially the music of course). And that happens to be indie games for the most part. But this piece stands out through the garbage that AAA games offer. But I see your point. This is the first video that got a content ID claim so I think I'll stick to other games. :-) I still haven't played FTL. Need to pick it up some time soon... Thanks for your comment.
