I like Ryder more than Shepard, he have his unique character. Shepard in other hand, is totally neutral so everyone could fit in his shoes, I don't like this. Don't get me wrong, Commander is good, but I think he is the weakest part of the trilogy.

It’s just the place where you stop the story.” ― Frank Herbert how i feel about mass effect...i miss playing through them (my disk tray broke) this is the first video game where i became emotionally attached to characters! i never thought i could do that! playing through all of them on insanity, romancing liara (faithfully) through all 3, playing through EVERY SINGLE side quest and DLC. atleast put in 300 hours or more into this trilogy. yet i wish i could forget everything and relive the experince.

For me, during the final run, when Shepard gets hit by harbinger, I just Hit Alt F4 and close the game. For me, Shepard died, the reapers won, the galaxy died fighting for what they believed, and the VI that Liara created managed to warn the next cycle, and the next cycle found a way to destroy the mass relays without destroying the solar systems, as well as the citadel. Creating their own technology and in the process removing their need for reaper technology. The end. Never make deals with a stupid AI with god like powers.

Most people cant face a harsh ending. Although the ending was rushed and undeniably has some sloppiness I still think it was amazing. People over here bitching about how there's no happy ending or many choices but what do you expect? Defeating the reapers was a near impossible feat with few options/choices to go about doing it that wouldn't be ridiculous. A happy ending of some sort wouldn't make sense nor have as much emotional impact so I liked the harshness of the endings imo.

@@tomasgonzales653 Totally agree. Especially seeing as how we were essentially told at the outset that we were not going to get a happy ending ( see the conversation with Sovereign from ME1). IMO there was no way to have a "happy" ending that would have made sense. This franchise was never about the ending; it was always about the journey.

To be honest, i found it a little bit heart breaking, when after Anderson death (which already was rather emotional) a half-dead Shepard tries to follow Hacketts request to solve everything and make things right. I mean she/he had to deal with a loss similar to Mordins death (if not worse), is bleeding out and still has to go on...

Lynn Carrillo she has ONE of the most screen time for a love interest, her and tali are probably the best choice. Miranda is a great one too but they sidelined her in 3 which ruined it and it sucks to have your love interest be sidelined so goi with liars and tali are the best two, for male I'm talking bout. Garrus is a good one too. But the way they sidelined many LI is terrible
