I always loved how much Aria absolutely SEETHES at being stuck on the Citadel. Literally the most peaceful place in the galaxy, and Aria is uncomfortable. Literally, in a place called 'Purgatory', which is supposed to be a holy realm where souls work out their salvation - and Aria can't wait to get out of there. XD Says a lot about her character, how she's out of her element. Which is essentially Hell (her own club is called 'Afterlife' and has Hellfire motifs all around). TL;DR Aria's a demon.

Jason Norman Manhattan, sorry, when I usually say NY, people usually get that I mean Manhattan. I don't remember the details, I was only there on a trip, and I wasn't driving. but the place I went to, was six stories tall, had massive glowing lights, suspended platforms in the center where the drinks came from (they don't allow you to drink on the platform.) it was really really cool. Just finished Mass Effect LE (and the trilogy for the first time) And I found myself just standing with Shepard inside Purgatory afterwards for over an hour. With a heavyhanded ending this was really what I needed!!! Addition after a secondary playthrough: I really do see it before me that I was standing there being like sheppard dancing like a lunatic knowing you'd be fighting to save the universe the next day. Boy that was a good night to get wasted AF!

I run a D&D campaign and my players always manage to go to places they shouldn't. This campaign they met a suspicious character by the name of "merchant of death" Aria T'loak, a character that featured in the first campaign in a space station called omega. They meet her in this campaign with a different set of goals, running a club by the name of Purgatory. Next campaign she will be running afterlife. This is my homage to my childhood and one of the best RPG's ever that gave me inspiration for so many wacky ideas and fun characters. The music and vibe of purgatory will hopefully hit them as hard as it as always hit me.
