Makes sense when you think about it. Padok's work on the genophage was purely theoretical. Mordin and Maelon's work was the physical one, personally modifying the genophage. They feel responsible in different levels.

Padok takes more offense to the idea Shepard would betray the krogan while Mordin comments saying he understands why Shepard would do this but still thinks it's wrong. Padok is a passionate philosophical/theological thinker looking for answers for what he aided in doing, Mordin is a man haunted by his actions and tries to reassure himself by saying the big picture justifies it all until he can no longer hide his regrets.

InfinityTemplar 你好 and that was a great opportunity missed by Bioware to have different fates for these guys. Mordin felt a small bit of guilt but as an operative, he is the more pragmatic one. I can see him agreeing to the sabotage on those same pragmatic grounds. But Padok had a philosophical argument against the genophage, and seemed to like the Krogan specifically for their hardiness and survivability. He seemed to believe they were a superior species, made by a creator for a purpose. It should have been impossible to convince Padok to fake his death and sabotage the cure, instead forcing you to kill him and turn him into a tragic steadfast true believer.

The best part is how silent Shepard is on the bridge when everyone is praising her for curing the Genophage, and when Garrus senses something's up with her, she acts all coy. Then later, you have the option of having her confess to Garrus that she sabotaged the cure. He's like, "You tricked Wreav" and she immediately responds, "Can you blame me?" It's a great scene. He's totally on board too. Not curing the Genophage if Wreav is in charge and Eve is dead is a no-brainer.

Best cases for both playthroughs. If Wrex is a live, cure the genophage. If he isn't, don't.

If Wrex is dead but Eve is alive, the genophage should still be cured. if both are dead, then yes, stop the cure.

@@CSLucasEpic Wrong, as great as eve is, curing the genophage with just her and wreav is a terrible idea. I hate to say it being a krogan lover from the first game, but with wreav in charge his support with traditionalist krogan (the majority) would outnumber the females and very very few reformists.

He may be a renegade but at the same time he’s an awesome one especially when he confronts that 🤬 Liara about how her people could’ve prevented this entire war but no instead they just stole and kept the knowledge for themselves and why is Liara acting like the victim in all this I mean everyone on the Normandy lost something but do you see them attacking each other

From what I can tell and from what wiki says you first meet him on Sur'Kesh. He's a Salarian STG Scientist that takes Mordin's place on this mission. I would be happy if anyone has any more info if he was in the previous games at all.

He runs the STG base on Sur'Kesh and calls off the Salarian troops when you land. If Mordin is alive, the only other part with him is the ability to ask him what he thinks of curing the Genophage, of which he thinks it is a good idea. If Mordin is dead, he replaces all parts that would have had Mordin in them from then on.

The genophage outcomes are a great example of how consequences from previous games should impact its sequels. Is Wrex alive? Is Mordin alive? Did you save Maelon’s data? Those choices carried weight.

I've got a run through ATM with these same choices, I set it up as 'I will kill everyone killable' working so far and lots of unseen(for me) content. Without Wrex and Eve I'm not curing the Genophage. Like without Tali I have no 'reason' to side with the Quarians over Legion who my Shepard is close too. But yeah, it's interesting going through ME3 without Garrus and Tali(Ash/Kaidan both killed off too) It's like Shep, James, EDI, Javik and Liara. And they're only alive because you can't kill em

he doesn't have to be the escort to live. i always used jacob for that and mordin lives. if you send them on an errand they aren't suited for (like jacob in the tunnel/exhaust vent thing), then they have a very high chance to die. also even if your squadmate was loyal in ME2 there is still a chance that he/she will die. it's not really a glitch. loyalty just makes your chances very high

Download a save from the ME2 save database. You can find every possible combination. I found one where everyone died LOL. Mordin dead, Wrex dead, Capt. Hold-the-line dead. . Then with super low EMS, Liara and James died too. Then Shepard ASSUMED DIRECT CONTROL and now rules the galaxy with his Reaper fleet MUWHAHAHAH!

it's not a bug. mordin is considered to be the weakest team member so even with his loyalty there is a chance that he will die holding the door with the rest of the crew. to insure his survival, if he is loyal, you may tell him to escort your crew or come with you to fight the human reaper.

There is no way of sabotaging the cure if Wrex is still alive. The only way you can get away with it is to kill Wrex in ME1 (or let Ashley do it) because Wrev is too stupid to notice the difference. Also saving Mordin or Wiks is only possible if Wrex and Eve died.

If Mordin dies in the suicide mission but you did get his loyalty and save the data Eve will still live which is what happened in my first playthrough but I went back to save everyone because I wanted to know how everyone played out in ME3 So basically this is just said if you didn’t do Mordins loyalty mission at all

If you want the experience of importing a character, you could download a character file from masseffectsaves2 . com. I'd suggest playing all three games, though, it's really worth it. Wiks isn't in any of the other games, though.
