On what improvement could it had? So much, so damn much more than the anticipated, people needed more Mass Effect, and the devs decision was a bit spot on, different worlds, different techs, different story, but it wasn't enough. We wanted more, so much more, the game, the mechanics was really good, the visuals, the sounds, but they changed what wasn't supposed to be changed as well, OPTIONS that changes the WORLD, I think that was the main problem. And hence they didn't add more to that, or worked longer on it.

I have played the original mass effect trilogy more than a dozen times (not exaggerating) and it is without a doubt my favorite game franchise of all time. All of the negative publicity and opinions for this game made me not want to play it at release so i skipped it. This is strictly my opinion, but I find the use of "Human" by Rag'n'Bone Man to be a brilliant move. Cmdr. Shepard was a borderline demigod by the end of the ME Trilogy, both in actions and reputation. The Pathfinder is an unbloodied, inexperienced soul upon whom greatness has been thrust. No one can EXPECT the same miracles, not even the players themselves. Mistakes will be made, lessons will be learned.

Devs like Bioware were forced to make their own forks of Frostbite but because DICE never integrated them to trunk a dev always started from zero whenever Frostbite changed versions which affected ME: Andromeda and DA: Inquisition. But Respawn got a pass and Frostbite wasn't forced on them ever.

sure you can customize your character, but in the trilogy the original shepard looked just fine. He had a face you could remember. Personally, I never customized him because it just felt like a 'wrong' Shepard if I did. This guy here has nothing like that, he looks like a regular footsoldier, no defining features at all. So I will have to customize, but even then there will never be the 'one true' face like it was with shepard.

About the characters, crew members are ok i guess but nothing compared to my family on the Normandy, non crew member characters they all feel like talking to Avina VI in ME1. Combat is great tho

We need Mass Effect: Andromeda 2. I don't care what anyone tells me, I just think we should give the Mass Effect: Andromeda story a fitting conclusion. Edit: Or, since Mass Effect: Andromeda probably won't be getting a sequel, I feel like they should release a really long story DLC to just wrap everything up in a satisfactory way. Honestly, the DLC idea seems like a better one to me. Also, it kinda feels odd how Jaal only got like half a second of screen time in this trailer, and Vetra (one of if not the best character in Mass Effect: Andromeda) wasn't in it at all.

Besides the tremendous amount of bugs & graphical problems the game had, the game suffered from what I call “The Ezio Effect”, named after Ezio Auditore from the Assassin’s Creed series. Basically, it the fandom being so in love with a certain protagonist(s) so when they get replaced, the new protagonist has a major uphill battle for acceptance. That being said, I loved Andromeda. It could’ve been better but I feel like the story was a good jumping off point for a new adventure. For me, the biggest disappointment was when BioWare announced there was going to be no further single player updates. What makes that ironically sad is before reading that, I received my replica of The Tempest in the mail. I hope we get a sequel that builds off the loose threads of the first game.

Obviously this is a game about the immense pressure put on Ryder for the whole of humanity, and I really get the impression from this trailer that the game is going to be a lot about that crushing pressure, and how Ryder "is only human". I tried playing this game about two years ago and couldn’t get into it. Never even finished the vault on Eos. Now it’s 2022, I gave it another shot, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I find this to be a very well done game. Sure there are still some shortcomings in some areas, but I think overall the package is solid. If you’ve recently played the LE edition of the Trilogy, I feel like this is a different, but still very much enjoyable follow up.

I think the song works really well. Ryder isn't a hero like Shepard was, they're just a young adult that's been pushed to become a leader with almost no preparation. Ryder's basically just a kid compared to Shepard, so the song fits. The song, by the way, is "Human" by Rag n Bone man

Yes Ryders are 22-23 (plus 600+ if you add cryosleep) and Shepard is 29-30 or 29-32 depending on how you regard age. So Ryder is several years younger, without formal N7 credit, and without war experience, but probably with some more intelligence and curiosity.

It had cheesy/badly written dialogue scenes sometimes sure, but does that considered "bad" writing? Did it tell a linear story according to your decisions? Did it introduce likeable characters? Did it introduce a new antagonist? Were their plans justified? Did those characters grow in anyway? We focus so much on the bad, you really saw nothing good about that game? Before even getting it I new it was going to be a crazy mess. Making a config that complex with a bunch of enormous maps, we expected bugs. Hell why is it hilarious when we find bugs and glitches in other games like Skyrim and GTA and chastised for the exact same thing with arguably more complex system.

Like a lot of people have said, it's really not a terrible game and I'm sad that we weren't able to see where the story went after this chapter. I think a combination of some of the faults it legitimately had and that I think people still wanted more of the Milky Way storyline was why it never really gained traction with the fans. I was also initially let down my ME3, but after giving it a couple runs on the LE Edition, I found myself actually really enjoying it. In any case I'm excited for what may be in development.

I hear people always saying that ME3 was bad. The only thing I hated about it was the last level on earth and all its corridor shooting + the endings. Hands down ... it really feels like your decisions really didn't matter in the end. But that are like 5% of the game. the other 95% was awesome and I enjoyed every minute. And Andromeda? I played it a week after it was released and because I went in full blind, I also didn't know anything about the shitstorm. It's been a while since I've played through Andromeda and I kind of want to go through it again to see what I think of it now. Like I said, I remember enjoying it well enough that I wanted to see it continue, but I was a tad underwhelmed by it. As for ME3, I seem to remember my initial impression was that the gameplay was solid. In fact probably the best to date at that time. I played through it relatively quickly after it's launch and I do remember being annoyed by the rather lackluster ending. They did adjust it after the fact if I'm not mistaken. It seemed a bit more expanded then what I remember. Also, while I have read that some people really enjoyed the multiplayer, I kind of found it off-putting that I had to play it to get the full war ready status. I also played it before a lot of the DLC was released that I never came back for and I've found myself really enjoying that.

the community is "toxic" now because they feel the quality of their favorite game series slipping away for reasons outside their control. I understand completely. Everything having to do with this IP post-Mass Effect 3's ending has been sketchy. Do you know how many key talents literally left during development? Mass Effect has a very specific tone, and it's one of the reasons it *works*. This new stuff looks to be breaking tone. Not a good sign.

A shit ton of people left before Uncharted 4 which became the best game in the franchise (and nominated a ton of times for GotY). And a tonal change is your problem? Really? The original trilogy was a high fantasy story put in the far future. Why would they copy the tone? Just because the blueprint was great didn't mean Jay Z had to make the same music. Things change and rightfully they should stagnation in thought and creation will never be for the better.

For the wrong reason, taking into account how shit games are nowadays. It had some major flaws yes, animation being the least of them in my humble opinion. Where this game commits its biggest sin, is in its mediocre storytelling/character development & exposure. But this game is really fun. Certainly better than the garbage me3 was. And according to mainstream people only the ending of it was trash... No man the whole me3 was trash!. The fondest memories I have of mass effect 3 is actually playing horde-multiplayer with my friends. How sad is that to say for a game genre that as its core was rebound for superb story, characters, & its role-playing.
